  when i start my pc when the first screen i see the resultion is small but when it gets to log in screen its good how di i change the resultion screen size of the first screen thats the screen thats small and the log in screen and when i log in all thats good only that screen pls help me someone thanks the graphic card is gtx 680 thanks im not sure wht topic this goes in It worked perfectly one day I didn't read the nividia 3d thing and i didn't read and i unstalled the drivers and that change and then later installed it back after how do I fix this?   have a terminal server 2003 that about 50users can use, users are saving documents on the desktop, today users complain that documents on the desktop is missing, no upgrades or changes has been done the error is that the server reverted to load items the folder name "Desktop" instaed of using the local language "Skrivbord" (swedish for desktop) So the files are still on the server located under the users swedish folder name, but server does not load it, server however does load files located under the English folder name how can the terminal server from one day to another just change from where it loads the user profile desktop files?

  I have found several threads from 2010 and early-2011 talking about excessive resource usage by mod_pagespeed I haven't seen any recent ones. I am facing excessive memory usage, which is causing server to crash several times a day. I am wondering if the issue was ever fixed before mod_pagespeed 1.0 was released. • Finding a cause of shutdown/sleep

  My server running is Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.2.54-2 x86_64 GNU/Linux. About once a day, sometimes once every two days is shut down - It isn't really shut down, it seems like its sleeping - Power button is blinking, but I cannot boot it by clicking on power or reset button, I must pull electricity out and plug it back in, then I can boot it. What could be the cause of this? How can I fix this?

What does this mean, can i revert it to normal, has anything been modified and is there a list somewhere of color codes for windows file names.. ? (I can recall seeing blue somewhere before).

• Strange network traffic on my dedicated server. How to find out what is causing it

  I noticed a trange outgoing traffic in my dedicated server. I'd like to know how could I find out what is the reason to this. One day traffic One week traffic As you can see, there are bursts of spikes to over 20 megs of outgoing traffic. There is always a lower of outgoing data, before the burst. Is there a chart provided by one of the major spam filtering companies? Edit: Based on our internal stats, although it varies, on the two weeks starting the day after Christmas (Sunday), spam seems to be coming in about half as much as it did before Christmas.

• Not to forward certain email Outlook

  I have set up a rule to forward incoming emails from Outlook to my Gmail account. The problem is that certain mails in which I'm a CC (about 1000/day monitoring system running status) are also forwarded to my Gmail and fill up my account very quickly. I have set up rules in Outlook to move those emails to a certain folder (called Monitored_Emails), but I don't know how to filter those emails so they don't forward to Gmail. How can I set this rule to forward all emails except those in a certain folder name?

  Is it possible to export all the data inside openldap for example using ldapsearch or some other tool to a (ldif?) file and then import everything on another server and put this in a script that would be run every day. So that I could use the other one as a backup when the first/master server is not available? The server's main purposes would be to host several low-medium traffic websites/services (voice and game), and share terabytes of data on a local network. • Thunderbird doesn't raise or give focus when you click "Write" or "Reply".

  I'm using Thunderbird 2.0.22, the version that comes with Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10. When I hit "Reply" or "Write", a new email window pops up, but it ends up being under the main Thunderbird Window, and doesn't have focus. Thunderbird is the only application that exhibits this weird behaviour, and it just started happening one day, whereas it worked fine before. I've seen this problem years ago as well, and wasn't sure how I fixed it.

• Snow Leopard 10.6.3 Freezes Frequently

  Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on my Macbook Pro freezes quite frequently now. It freezes for few seconds and then works fine. During that time trackpad does not work and keyboard works partially (missing keystrokes while I type). Initially it was once or twice in a day but now it has become quite frequent. Is somebody else facing similar issue?
