  • Window resolution handling without javascript

    Is there any CSS property to deal window resolution. I created a HTML page taking total resolution width as 1424px.When I open it on different resolution I see a scroll bar & resolution of HTML does not adjust automatically. I don't want the scrollbar to be seen in maximized size of the page. Is it possible without using javascript.At the same time how to increase the resolution when itself is created in lower res.

What I want to do is to have a website with a simple search bar and allow people to type foo1 or just foo and finally return the gzipped file(s) and the explanation of the file(s). I tried uploading this to my server, but this wont output anything at all when I write the adress to the file in the browsers adress bar: <?php echo $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']; ?> I need to check this in order to display a link on the page or not...     Hello everyone I have installed xampp 1.7.3. After starting apache and mysql service when I write http://localhost/ in the internet explorer address bar it shows 'The page cannot be displayed'.
