  • Image editor component in Flex / JavaScript

    - by nobby
    Hi everyone, I'm looking for a simple Flex or JavaScript based image editing component which can be embedded in a web application. It shouldn't be a web service but rather a component that I can download and customize (i18n etc.). I only need some basic features: most important is cropping, optional features would be rotating and adjusting brightness/contrast. Basically something like splashup.com, but as an open source application rather than a web-service. Thanks a lot in advance for any hints! -- Andreas

    I am not developer but I found this board while researching windev. I am the VP of a start up company that is developing a web-based application for a retail point of sale system. If anyone out there is familiar enough with this product and especially it's limitations, I would appreciate any heads up info on any of the final product(s) that have been developed that I might be able to compare/contrast to our enterprise.

  • Create Downloadable CSV File from PHP Script

    - by Aphex22
    How would I create a formatted version of the following PHP script as a downloadable CSV file from the code below (1.0) At the moment the fputcsv function is currently dumping the unparsed PHP/HTML code into a CSV file. This is incorrect. The downloaded CSV file should contain the columns and rows generated from the code at (1.0) as shown in the image link below. I've tried using the following code at the top of the PHP file: // output headers so that the file is downloaded rather than displayed header('Content-Type: text/csv; charset=utf-8'); header('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=amazon.csv'); // create a file pointer connected to the output stream $output = fopen('php://output', 'w'); $mysql_hostname = ""; $mysql_user = ""; $mysql_password = ""; $mysql_database = ""; $bd = mysql_connect($mysql_hostname, $mysql_user, $mysql_password) or die("Could not connect database"); mysql_select_db($mysql_database, $bd) or die("Could not select database"); $sql = "select * from product WHERE on_amazon = 'on' AND active = 'on'"; $result = mysql_query($sql) or die ( mysql_error() ); // loop over the rows, outputting them while ($sql_result = mysql_fetch_assoc($sql)) fputcsv($output, $sql_result); 1.0 The start of the code outputs the column headings for the CSV file: // set headers echo " item_sku, external_product_id, external_product_id_type, item_name, brand_name, manufacturer, product_description, feed_product_type, update_delete, part_number, model, standard_price, list_price, currency, quantity, product_tax_code, product_site_launch_date, merchant_release_date, restock_date ... <br>"; And then follows PHP script for the column values // load all stock while ($line = mysql_fetch_assoc($result) ) { ?> <?php $size_suffix = array ("",'_chain','_con_b','_con_c'); $arrayLength = count ($size_suffix); for($y=0;$y<$arrayLength;$y++) { //Possible size array to loop through when checking quantity $con_size = array (36,365,37,375,38,385,39,395,40,405,41,415,42,425,43,435,44,445,45,455,46,465,47,475,48,485); $arrlength=count($con_size); for($x=0;$x<$arrlength;$x++) { // check if size is available if($line['quantity_c_size_'.$con_size[$x].$size_suffix[$y]] > 0 ) { ?> <!-- item sku --> <?=$line['product_id']?>, <!-- external product id --> <?=$line['code_size_'.$con_size[$x].'']?>, <?   • Expose subset of a class - design question

    - by thanikkal
    Suppose i have a product class with about close to 100 properties. Now for some operations (Say tax calculation) i dont really need this bulky product type, rather only a subset that has price related properties. I am not sure if i should create different snap shots(class) of products that just has the properties that i am interested in. what would be the ideal approach so that i don't unnecessarily pass around unsought fluff? Thanks in advance.

  • What's the case when using software licensed under GPL or LGPL

    - by Johnas
    With everything legal and in line with the ethical questions in software development, is it allowed to use an open source product in my software that I charge a fee for when selling? Scenario: I've developed an PHP Content Management System (CMS) and use some Linux executables licensed under GPL or LGPL in my CMS to accomplish various tasks like image editing. I'm selling the CMS and also including the executables when I deliver the product. I do not edit the source code of the GPL software, just using it.

  • jQuery bind efficiency

    - by chelfers
    I'm having issue with load speed using multiple jQuery binds on a couple thousands elements and inputs, is there a more efficient way of doing this? The site has the ability to switch between product lists via ajax calls, the page cannot refresh. Some lists have 10 items, some 100, some over 2000. The issue of speed arises when I start flipping between the lists; each time the 2000+ item list is loaded the system drags for about 10 seconds. Before I rebuild the list I am setting the target element's html to '', and unbinding the two bindings below. I'm sure it has something to do with all the parent, next, and child calls I am doing in the callbacks. Any help is much appreciated. loop 2500 times <ul> <li><input type="text" class="product-code" /></li> <li>PROD-CODE</li> ... <li>PRICE</li> </ul> end loop $('li.product-code').bind( 'click', function(event){ selector = '#p-'+ $(this).prev('li').children('input').attr('lm'); $(selector).val( ( $(selector).val() == '' ? 1 : ( parseFloat( $(selector).val() ) + 1 ) ) ); Remote.Cart.lastProduct = selector; Remote.Cart.Products.Push( Remote.Cart.customerKey, { code : $(this).prev('li').children('input').attr('code'), title : $(this).next('li').html(), quantity : $('#p-'+ $(this).prev('li').children('input').attr('lm') ).val(), price : $(this).prev('li').children('input').attr('price'), weight : $(this).prev('li').children('input').attr('weight'), taxable : $(this).prev('li').children('input').attr('taxable'), productId : $(this).prev('li').children('input').attr('productId'), links : $(this).prev('li').children('input').attr('productLinks') }, '#p-'+ $(this).prev('li').children('input').attr('lm'), false, ( parseFloat($(selector).val()) - 1 ) ); return false; }); $('input.product-qty').bind( 'keyup', function(){ Remote.Cart.lastProduct = '#p-'+ $(this).attr('lm'); Remote.Cart.Products.Push( Remote.Cart.customerKey, { code : $(this).attr('code') , title : $(this).parent().next('li').next('li').html(), quantity : $(this).val(), price : $(this).attr('price'), weight : $(this).attr('weight'), taxable : $(this).attr('taxable'), productId : $(this).attr('productId'), links : $(this).attr('productLinks') }, '#p-'+ $(this).attr('lm'), false, previousValue ); });
