    Hello everyone I have installed xampp 1.7.3. After starting apache and mysql service when I write http://localhost/ in the internet explorer address bar it shows 'The page cannot be displayed'. But for Firefox it creates no problem and shows Xampp index.php page. Now how can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance

  • Window resolution handling without javascript

    Is there any CSS property to deal window resolution. I created a HTML page taking total resolution width as 1424px.When I open it on different resolution I see a scroll bar & resolution of HTML does not adjust automatically. I don't want the scrollbar to be seen in maximized size of the page. Is it possible without using javascript.At the same time how to increase the resolution when itself is created in lower res.

I am trying to style a progress bar using CSS in a JSP page but get this error when using chrome's developer tools: Resource interpreted as image but transferred with MIME type text/plain. <%@ include file="../include/css/default.css" % And in the CSS file: background:url(../images/bg_bar.gif) no-repeat 0 0; Could anyone explain why this is and show how I can use this CSS in my page?

    Hi, I installed wamp server on xp. During the installation it did not show any error/warning message. Then i start it & type http://localhost/ in url bar but it just show a blank page. I also checked notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts their is no restriction for localhost. Help. Thanks...

    I'm working on a website layout you can find at dev.movingcost.com In most browsers, everything seems fine... but I'm getting a horizontal scroll bar on the window when viewing the page in IE. I'm using a fixed width of 960px with auto margins to center the content. I've even tried using "overflow-x:hidden" on the html and body tags to no avail... any clue where the problem is?

    When a user clicks on the little red "x" a.k.a. the form close button on the form command bar, what even is activated besides FormClosed() I know FormClosing() is called, but I cannot really stop the form from closing after my code is run.     here is what i see in IB and here is what appears in the simulator i've used a segmented control with style = "Bezelled". When i change the style to "Bar", IB and simulator are consistent in the display. the style is set in interface builder and not in code, if that matters Also - the edges look rather ugly in the simulator. not what i expected even when it rendered incorrectly.
