  • Is it possible install one instance of Trac for multiple independent projects?

    I want to set up an SVN/Trac environment for multiple projects, something like the GitHub. It will host multiple projects with multiple developers in each. For simplicity the developers can be independent from other projects. I want to setup this environment for every project automatically, from a registration page. What would be your recommendation? Particularly is it possible to do with Trac?

  • GIT server with username and password authentication

    I would like to set a GIT server and let my developers to login using username and password in order to commit and make changes to the projects. I need also to manage developer access to projects (I think I should use gitolite for this). How can I do that? I am used to SVN which is easy because you can set username and password for each developer, which can easily access the repository without having the generate an ssh key and put it on the server.     I have created a UISplitViewController based iOS app in XCode 3.2.5 Below is a screen shot of Interface builder showing the rootviewcontroller and how it is linked to other objects. Being a beginner myself, I do not understand: 1) What is the role of the rootviewcontroller? Searched the documentation but what I found did not answer this question. 2) I thought a IBOutlet should only link to one corresponding object. Why in this case the rootviewcontroller is linked to two?

  • save sqlite3 file of my App

    I'm new with dealing with the .sqlite3 in iphone, I created a sqlite3 file in /Users/myLab/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/5.1/Applications/308C4355-D8EE-4524-A7F9-638DEB68B298/Documents/file.sqlite3 and I inserted the tables into it using Terminal.app and everything works ok with my app. but when I moved this application to another device, opened by xcode and trying to run it, I discovered that my tables are not found in this .sqlite3 file in another device. how can I save my tables in .sqlite3 file??

  • Run GTK+ application in client browser

    Hi, I've been searching for ways to run a GTK+ application on a browser. WebKit and its associated GTK+ port seem to do the opposite - making applications more Web-friendly, but the opposite would also be nice. There seems to have been some activity to realize that for XCode, with Cappuccino and Atlas, that can translate NIB files into CIB files. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks! mike

  • What binary architectures should be cross-compiled when building Mac OS X packages?

    Currently, Apple's native binaries and libraries are distributed as fat files, with support for both i386 and x86_64 architectures. The SDK (Xcode 4.4 w/ command line tools) doesn't support cross-compiling powerpc binaries any more, so they can be safely ignored I think, but there doesn't seem to be any specific guidelines or recommendations about which Intel architectures to support. So, when compiling code for distribution on OS X, do people still cross-compile for the i386 architecture? Or are x86_64 binaries the only architecture worth bothering with nowadays?

  • Why is QuartzCore reported as leaking in my app?

    When I view my app's memory in the xcode memory tool, i see that something called QuartzCore is reported as leaking many times. Each leak ranges from 16-80 bytes. My code is not referencing this. it's all from withing UIApplicationMain(). So I'm not sure how to control this. Any ideas? Thank you.

  • Cocoa : Once and for all, how to really reset the standardUserDefaults

    I tried using -resetStandardUserDefaults, I tried removing the plist file, none of those really do what I need. I want to reset my preferences completely, as if the app re-installed. Is there a good solution to this? I tried : NSString *appDomain = [[NSBundle mainBundle] bundleIdentifier]; [[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] removePersistentDomainForName:appDomain]; But Xcode complains. Apparently, it doesn't like that the plist file has disappeared.

NSString *col1 = [NSString stringWithCString:(char *)sqlite3_column_text(compiledStatement, 0)]; However as that is the deprecated method if I set an encoding the string comes out wrong!     Hi, I have just installed new xcode with sdk 4.3b because I need 'airPlay' feature in my current project which is based on sdk 4.2. But I open my project and type my MPMoviePlayerController object.... mpObject.??? ... but here I don't have allowAirPlay property. But when I start new project and create movie player I have that property, but don't have in my old project, what should I setup to have this?

  • iPhone SDK: how to switch from a login screen to a navigation interface?

    I am beginning in iPhone development and have followed a few tutorials, but please indicate me if I'm going in the wrong direction. I have implemented my own UInViewController and a login screen view (with its xib). What I would like to do is that after clicking on the login button, it displays the RootViewController.xib, which includes the Xcode's default navigation application template. Is that possible? How?     I'm doing a word search using the following command: find . -exec grep -q [some_word] '{}' \; -print -o -name .svn -prune -o -name .ssh -prune -o -name .boneyard -o -name log -prune -prune -o -name tmp -prune Is it possible to use a regex to exclude all hidden directories? Note: The current command traverses the entire tree from the current location and exclude those being pruned. The exclusion needs to work for any hidden directory regardless off location.

I've gotten that far, but now I'm having trouble ignoring files in a hidden (.svn) file tree.
