    How can I view the change history of an individual file, complete with what has changed ? I have got as far as : git log -- filename which shows me the commit history of the file, but how do I get at the content of each of the changes ? Thanks - I'm trying to make the transition from MS SourceSafe and that used to be a simple right click / show history.

When another element on the window is selected, however, the highlight becomes a lighter blue as the source list is no longer focused.     I got 2 folder, one is "Lectures" where only lecture can login, and another is "Students" where only students can login. and i use role-based authorization. but the problem is i only can assign one value for defaultUrl in web.config, if i assign it to "~/Lectures/Default.aspx" and this make lecture can login without any problem, but when student login, the student will stuck at login page, so any idea to change defaultUrl in web.config through C#???

  • Subversion: Change working directory's target repo

    I know, other RCS are better, but... I have moved an SVN repository from file:///path/to/repo to http://host.name/svn/repo but there is a working directory (checkout out from file://) with changes that want commiting to the http location. How then, can I change the repo a working directory will commit to when issuing svn commit? I'd rather do that than checkout a new copy and sync changes locally. Also, handy to know for the future.
