  • Include Unit tests in the same package as the source code in Java

    Guys, I'm getting back into Java after a long stint in the Ruby world and I've got a question about JUnit tests and the source I'm testing. If I've got a package of graphics code for my company, lets call it com.example.graphics, should I include my tests in that package too or should they be included in a seperate package, like com.example.graphics.test?     I'm creating a ZK Web application which uses Spring Security for authentication and I'm trying to implement a create user function, where the administrator supplies the details and the user account is created. I've got to the part where I want to put this data into the database, but now I'm thinking I shouldn't hard code the connection to the database, there must be a way to get the connection details from the Spring Security configuration. Is there? If so how?

    I've recently started to try to use Dist::Zilla for maintaining Path::Class. I added the [PodCoverageTests] plugin, and it's reporting some failures in the Path::Class::Entity class, which is the abstract base class for Path::Class::File and Path::Class::Dir. What I'd like is some way to tell the testing code that Entity doesn't need docs, but its two derived classes do - even though the methods are only defined in the parent class. Anyone know some way to do that?

  • Can Prototype or JQuery return an HTTP status code on an AJAX request

I've tried to copy library from sdcard to /data/data/app/ and then System.load(/data/data/libjni.so) It works on HTC HERO, but fails on HTC Legend with Android 2.1. it fails during execution of native code and write to log uninformative stack trace Any other way to do it?

  • [CPAINT Error] invalid HTTP response code ‘0’

    Hello all, I am trying to make use of a script that uses CPAINT and I keep getting the error above when I click on favourite an item (a 5 star rating system). It looks like it is making an AJAX request but I can not see this from my Firebug to debug this - why is this the case? More importantly what does the error code 0 mean? Thank you all for any help
