  I follow some sample code which uses trace("Hello World"); to print out something in ActionScript 3.0, in Flash Professional CS5. But nothing seems to get printed out (in a browser). Is the trace() function deprecated / removed?

  hello in clips i have this template: (deftemplate cell(slot x)(slot y)(slot alive)) and this fact : (start 1 1) then i have this claus in the LHS : ?start<-(start ?x ?y) and i want to get the variable ?a1 (cell (x (+ ?x 1) )(y ?y)(alive ?a1)) it seems that it's not allowed to add to the variable "(+ ?x 1)" so how can i achive what i want.

Now, if someone asks you that how I am handling non-machine timezone, is that question refering that how the code will handle in case if the application gets deployed to machines in different time zones?   Hello, I am trying to programmatically set the org.exolab.castor.indent property when marshalling some objects - however, contrary to the documentation published, the class org.exolab.castor.util.LocalConfiguration does not seem to be shipped with the 1.3 release. Currently, I have specified the castor.properties file on the classpath, which is picking up the properties I want to set, but I would rather reduce this deployment overhead, as my indentation requirement is not likely to change. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I encountered the following C++ code: String source = String::New("'Hello' + ', World'"); As what I understand so far, this should be a call to static member function 'New' of class 'String'. But, I've searched through the whole header file defining 'String', there is not any static member named 'New' in the String class or its super classes. Is there any special meaning attached to String class or the New member function in C++?
