• Spring aspectj jar not configured correctly

  I am getting this error when I tried to use a JPA object created by Roo. Entity manager has not been injected (is the Spring Aspects JAR configured as an AJC/AJDT aspects library?) I have followed some online advice to add the spring-aspects.jar to aspectj path in Eclipse but I still get this error. Does anyone know how to solve this? The environment I am using is Spring 3.0.5, Hibernate 3.6 and JBoss 6.0.0.Final.

• Given a program's source code, what is a simple way to calculate the function points?

  For class, I was told to give a function point count for Mozilla Thunderbird, however I am absolutely stumped as to how to approach this. Some methods I saw online suggested analyzing the interface of the program itself, however they used very simple methods.   I am trying to determine whether a company has websites built with ASP.NET MVC in their portfolio. Is there a reliable way of determining that without asking them assuming that I can visit the website in question in my browser? This might seem simple, but I wasn't able to find this information online. I would think that the lack of viewstate related stuff in the HTML source and the noun-verb URL structure would be good indicators. Are there any other indicators?

  I am basically making a video library where you download videos and I then write them to the applications documents folder. This all works fine and if i stream the video from online it plays fine. Or indeed I can stream it from the resource folder fine. However, after downloading it and saving to the documents folder then attempting to stream I get the error 'movie format not supported' any ideas? thanks very much

• Visual Studio appears to randomly adopt american keyboard layout

  Gah! this is really causing me hassle today. Suddenly without warning '@' (at symbol) and '"' (double quote) are trading places on my keyboard but ONLY in Visual Studio 2008 !!! I can't seem to find anything in help or online to explain/remedy this. Is there some keyboard shortcut I am inadvertantly executing?? I rebooted my PC and it went away for an hour or two and then suddenly came back. Oh the insanity :(
