  • How do I rename the Tfs_xxxConfiguration database for TFS 2010?

    When we installed TFS 2010, we made some poor decisions in naming our databases. I have figured out how to rename everything except for the Tfs_xxxConfiguration database. How can I get this renamed? I can only find a read-only display of the connection string to it - cannot find where to alter that connection string either directly or indirectly. I'd really prefer to not have to rebuild it from scratch... again... Thanks!

  • Google Chrome shows garbage text instead of web page

    On some websites, I receive garbage text instead of web page itself. I have noticed that this only happens for pages that are served with Content-Encoding set to GZIP or chunked headers, see the image please: I am using latest version 22.0.1229.94 of Chrome with Windows 7 Ultimaate. The encoding of browser is set to UTF-8. (I also tried changing encoding to Western, etc but same result) Can anyone suggest a solution to this? Thanks

Currently, when I "accept" outlook originated events they are added to my "work" cal by default and not sure how to sync this or have this sync'ed to my google cal. Is there a way to set lightning to add accepted events to my google cal by default, which i've set up remotely using the google provider? Thanks -dm

    Why won't my logon scripts map drives under Windows 7? I'm using a vb script similar to the one below, the script runs using a group policy. Dim WshNetwork Set WshNetwork = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Network") WshNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "g:", "\\\Saturn\data\" WshNetwork.MapNetworkDrive "k:", "\\\Saturn\stuff\" Works fine for Windows XP. Update: Copying the script locally and running it runs fine so I suspect the Group Policy isn't running the script on Windows 7. Many thanks Steve

    Dear, When i login to windows using domain user account, it take a min show welcome and then automatically logoff. I think user profile error, so login with the administrator account and create new local account. When i login using the local user account, it happened the same as domain user account. Only Administrator Level can login to windows. Any know how can i fix this case? Thanks

    Just installed Win7, and i noticed when i move a file/folder, it actually copies, then deletes. I noticed because if i want to move 40 GB, I must have 40 GB free space. On XP, if I am moving folders and files within the same partition, no matter size, are moved instantly. Only the number of files matters. Any way to get around this? Thanks.

    The following folders keep showing up: C:\Default\ C:\NativeImages\ They both have a ton of folders in them witha bunch of html files in each folder. I'm assuming this has something to do with NGEN because of the NativeImages folder. How do I get rid of these folders and keep them from coming back? Or otherwise move them so they get put somewhere else? Thanks

    Is there a way to get XMMS2 to call an outside script when it advances in a playlist - either automatically or via manual intervention (e.g. xmms2 next)? The goal is to have balloons pop up on my desktop to tell me what new song has started playing, and I really, really don't want to write a background daemon that polls 'xmms2 info' or 'xmms2 current' if there's a way to get it to issue the callback.     Hi, I have a pivot which includes goals and year results. Because goal is the same on each meausure, I have to average the goal in the pivot in order to show the correct amount. I then want to calculate v% between the goal and the year result. Because the goal is averaged, v% cannot be calculated correctly. Does anyone know of a way to do calcuation like this in a pivot?   • installing SNMP in Windows x32 Customized Image

    I'm working in a environment of 40 machines, I've already installed snmp in 38 machines normally, but 2 of them appear to have been installed with a customized windows image, there is no OptionalFeatures, there is no ocsetup.exe, so I could not able to install SNMP. I tried to copy OptionalFeatures and ocsetup from another machine, but it don't work. For now I cannot simple format these two computer, it's possible to install it using another way?     Looking at the details of a certificate using the following: openssl x509 -noout -text -purpose -in mycert.pem I find a bunch of purpose flags (which I've discovered are set by the various extensions attached to a certificate). One of these purpose flags is "Any Purpose". I can't seem to find ANY documentation on this flag and why or why not it is set.
