    I have one sample code which get SEL from current object, SEL callback = @selector(mymethod:parameter2); And I have method like -(void)mymethod:(id)v1 parameter2;(NSString*)v2 { } Now I need to move mymethod to another object, say myDelegate. I have tried: SEL callback = @selector(myDelegate, mymethod:parameter2); but appears not compiling. Thanks.

  • Creating a fixed axis for Silverlight Toolkit charts

    Every example I see of a series in a Silverlight chart fromt he toolkit has a binding for bothe IndependentValueBinding and DependentValueBinding. In my code I want a fixed axis for the categories (Independent) - so every value get's "X" perhaps. Is there a way to do this? Essentially I have ten bar series in one chart and I want them all to sit together. It seems silly to create a new class to hold them in just so I can add a string property for the axis name.

    Working with Python in Emacs if I want to add a try/catch to a block of code, I often find that I am having to indent the whole block, line by line. In Emacs, how do you indent the whole block at once. I am not an experienced Emacs user, but just find it is the best tool for working through ssh. I am using Emacs on the command line(Ubuntu), not as a gui, if that makes any difference.

    Using C# and WPF under .net (rather than WindowsForms or console), what is the correct way to create an application that can only be run as a single instance? I know it has something to do with some mythical thing called a mutex, rarely can I find someone that bothers to stop and explain what one of these are. The code needs to also inform the already running instance that the user tried to start a second one, and maybe also pass any command line arguments if any existed.

After searching I found a nifty trick to see the content of the array in the "Watch 1" tab, (How to view contents of an array while debugging in Code Blocks?), but going from "watch 1" to "Autos" every step to see what's changing in the array isn't practical at all. How can i see the array content within "Autos" along side my other changing variables, where i need it to show?

    I want to use swig for generation of read-only wrappers for a complex object. The object which I want to wrap will always be existent while I will read it. And also I will only use my wrappers at the time that object is existent, thus I don't need any memory management from SWIG. For following swig interface: %module test %immutable; %inline %{ struct Foo { int a; }; struct Bar { int b; Foo f; }; %} I will have a wrappers which will have a lot of garbage in generated interfaces and do useless work which will reduce performance in my case.     How do I achieve the following conversion from double to a string: 1.4324 => "1.43" 9.4000 => "9.4" 43.000 => "43" ie I want to round to to decimal places but dont want any trailing zeros, ie i dont want 9.4 => "9.40" (wrong) 43.000 => "43.00" (wrong) So this code which I have now doesn't work as it displays excess twos: [NSString stringWithFormat: @"%.2f", total]
