  A little help from you all... I was trying to convert a simple java program into jar but nothing seems to have happened. I have 2 files: Tester.java , Tester.Class. Then I used this command line: jar -cvf Tester.jar Tester.class The .jar file was created but nothing seems to work. What did I miss?

• Adding a MouseOverHandler to an Element?

  I would like to listen for the mouse over event in GWT 1.6. Since GWT 1.6 has introduced handlers and deprecated listeners I'm unsure as to how I can accomplish this with what little information exists. Note: I have an Element object.   Is there any reason why the asterisk is next to the object type in this code? I'm a little confused by the way I see this used. • how do i do very fast inserts to SQL Server 2008

  I have a project that involves recording data from a device directly into a sql table. I do very little processing in code before writing to sql server (2008 express by the way) typically i use the sqlhelper class's ExecuteNoneQuery method and pass in a stored proc name and list of parameters that the SP expects. This is very convenient, but i need a much faster way of doing this. Thanks.

• If i write in assembly or machine language, will the program work on any computer with a compatible processor?

  Basically, i'm wanting to know if i can use either machine or assembly language to write a program that will work on any computer with an x86 processor, despite differences in operating systems. For example, you run a program and no matter what computer it's on, it'll display "Hello, World!" I know it's a little crazy to want to know either of these to languages, but i figure it's an incredible thing to learn, so why not?

I'm having an issue with Firefox and anchor links from an external page to a tab div on the landing page; while IE render these correctly (I know, that means little), FF and Chrome both send the user to a place somewhat above or below the actual anchor tag. I've recently lost the folder structure after a merge operation gone-bad and would like to rename the recovered files according to the metadata.   Hi, I just wrote a little application(4 page php), everything work fine, however, I have a question that, do I need to create a new instance of facebook (just like $facebook = new facebook.....) in every new php page, or just pass a access token or session? If only pass the access token, how can I use the function $faceook-api('something'); to acheive the data? The .slideUp doesn't execute an upside down version of slideDown. Instead it hides stuff, like after your cleaning up an old message you've displayed with slideDown.
