• c# : simulate memory leaks..

  Hi, I would like to write the following code in c#. a) small console application that simulates memory leak. b) small console application that would invoke the above application and release it right away simulating managing memory leak problem.. In other words the (b) application would continuously call and release application (a) to simulate how the "rebellious" memory leak application is being contained with out addressing the root cause which is application (a). Some sample code for application (a) and (b) would be very helpful. Thanks

  I have this piece of code that finds words that begin with @ or #, p = re.findall(r'@\w+|#\w+', str) Now what irks me about this is repeating \w+. I am sure there is a way to do something like p = re.findall(r'(@|#)\w+', str) That will produce the same result but it doesn't, it instead returns only # and @. How can that regex be changed so that I am not repeating the \w+? This code comes close, p = re.findall(r'((@|#)\w+)', str) But it returns [('@many', '@'), ('@this', '@'), ('#tweet', '#')] (notice the extra '@', '@', and '#'.

  I am trying to build an aspx page at runtime (by another aspx page which finally redirects to the new one). As far as I understand, aspx pages MUST be precompiled before a user can view them. In other words, the aspx page must be compiled to the DLL in the /bin folder. Is there a away to tell IIS, or to order it by VB.NET code, to compile a page before I am redirecting my user to the page? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

  I have setAttribute(Qt::WA_OpaquePaintEvent,true) on a widget. From a mouseMoveEvent, I scroll the widget. Now what I need to do is to update the newly exposed area, but it seems that doing this from the paintevent function create an artifact because there is a delay created when the user keeps scrolling. In other words, the widget seems to have scrolled again between the call to scrool and the call or end of paintevent. For example, while the paint event is trying to draw the desired area, the widget is still scrolling
