• How Do I Make a PHP Module with the Vala Programming Language?

  This new language called Vala, which is said to be C#-like and supposedly easier than C++ or C, compiles down into C on Linux with the GCC compiler. Sounds great. Now I want to use it to make a PHP module so that slow PHP code can be made in Vala and imported into PHP as a function. How do I accomplish this in Vala? Is it even possible?

So my question is, How can I do to specify a relative path in this configuration file.

  Hi all, I have a string, for example; "llama,goat,cow" and I just need to put a '@' in front of each word so my string will look like "@llama,@goat,@cow", but I need the values to be dynamic also, and always with a '@' at the beginning. • can you deploy cruise control .net as a web service/web app?

  I'm investigating the possibility of utilizing my web host as a cruise control.net build server. If I have access to MsBuild or can deploy msBuild and run it, it would be great. I can not however find any resources that would tell me if cruise control supports being run as a web service or web app. Is this type of deployment possible? If not could the UI (it's web-based I believe) control section sit on the web server and send requests to the actual build server?

(dont ask why, long story, I need them for each with different settings involving Audio Recording) I am very keen to install the new Ubuntu and get into a new OS, out of interest but I don't want to mess with my current 2 windows installations?   Hi, I'm using org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet and org.springframework.ws.transport.http.MessageDispatcherServlet In the same app but each is loading own application contexts, I need to load all beans in a single application context. The application consists of typical layers webappdao etc What I have tried is to use one single spring-root-context.xml by setting it in the contextConfigLocation. I know SVN/GIT is mainly used by open source developers, are there any downsides to ASP.NET developers using it? • sIFR: page refresh causes background images problems in IE8

  I'm using sIFR 3 r436. When a page is reloaded, and often also on load, in IE8 the background image does'nt appear completely. When clicking on an intern link the background is displayed correctly. Google Chrome has also minor problems in displaying.   I'm making a simple image for the web which is a gradient with some text on in Photoshop CS4. The text doesn't seem to be of a great quality.
