  • SSIS - Multiple Configurations

    I have inherited a SSIS project. I have never worked with SSIS before, and the one thing that seems strange to me, is that there is no way to manage multiple configurations. For each SSIS package we have 3 delpoyment environments, DEV, UAT and PRODUCTION. At the moment I am having to edit the configuration for every package we deploy manually for each change (and there are a lot of packages). Does anyone know of a more graceful way to handle these configuration changes?

  • Wordpress database migration

    Hi Everyone! I've looked around the Wordpress forums about this and didn't find anything so I thought I might try here. If you have a staging/dev Wordpress setup used for testing new pluging and such, how do you go about migrating the data in the staging database back to the production database? Is there a "Wordpress best practices" way to do this, or am I limited to having to manually migrate tables from one database to the other?

  • Cross-Domain iframe communication

    I have an iframe being created on a page, and the page's domain is being explicitly set to 'xyz.com' but the iframe's domain is defaulting to 'dev.xyz.com', which is the actual domain i'm developing for. The problem is, when I try to access that iframe via iframe.contentWindow.document, it fails due to the difference in domain. I've tried setting the iframe's src to a file with document.domain = 'xyz.com' but that doesn't seem to be doing the trick... Any ideas?

This being the case I therefore need to download a copy of SQL Express 2005 or something to develop against on my windows XP home PC? Is this correct? Or would the Dev edition of SQL Server 2005 run/install on Windows XP Home? thanks

  • Why don't this toggle animation execute in all browsers

    Hey guys This file isn't executing in any browser other than firefox on mac. Added everything i can think to get it sorted. http://samhorner.co.uk/dev/samhorner/ Clicking on the twitter bar should close it, then open it again when you click on it again, only one click works on the other browsers.     Hello, I'm writing a program in python using dbus that detects inserted usb drives and manipulates the files inside of them. However, I can't seem to retrieve the path on my system of an inserted usb. Is there someway that I can get the path of an inserted usb in dbus, perhaps by using the GetProperty() method? I have tried using GetProperty("block.device"), but that returns /dev/sdc1 which doesn't exist on my system. Thanks in advance for any help!

    My thickbox renders correctly in my dev environment, but in prod, the default height kicks in even though I'm supplying width and height params. TB_WIDTH = (params['width']*1) + 30 || 630; //defaults to 630 if no paramaters were added to URL TB_HEIGHT = (params['height']*1) + 40 || 440; //defaults to 440 if no paramaters were added to URL ajaxContentW = TB_WIDTH - 30; ajaxContentH = TB_HEIGHT - 45; Any thoughts on why this might be happening?

  • Active Directory lookup works in IE but fails in FireFox

    I'm using IIS 5.1 on my local dev machine and I have changed IIS to run using my domain account and configured ASP.NET with impersonate = true. I am able to query my local AD to get information perfectly fine using IE (IE 7.0) but when I use FireFox (3.6.3) it fails with a really un-helpful COM error. I was wondering if anyone else had come across this and knows how to fix this?

I found it didn't quite do what I needed, but that's another topic, and I'm moving to South. Can I just delete the evolution tables in my django db, and remove it from the app settings? How come I can't browse around the directories using the commandline like this? How do I get root access on my phone?
