I have this problem: I have two tables "Join" table: Reservation_has_meal +----------------+ | id_reservation | | id_meal | | pieces | +----------------+ and table with data: Meal +-------------+ | id_meal | | name | +-------------+ Sample data for Meal: 1 | carrot 2 | potatoe 3 | cucumber Reservation_has_meal 1 | 2 | 5230 1 | 3 | 1203 How can I get this result for reservation with id_reservation=1: id_meal | id_Reservation | name | pcs | -------------------------------------------- 1 | 1 | carrot | null| 2 | 1 | potatoe | 5230| 3 | 1 | cucumber | 1203| -------------------------------------------- And result for id_reservation = 2: id_meal | id_Reservation | name | pcs | -------------------------------------------- 1 | 2 | carrot | null| 2 | 2 | potatoe | null| 3 | 2 | cucumber | null| -------------------------------------------- Thanks for advice.

    I'm trying to create a query, that will calculate sum of products on invoice. I have 3 tables : Product (with product's price) Invoice (with invoice id) Products on invoice (with invoice id, product id and number of particular products) So in my query I take invoice_id (from invoice), price (from product),number of products sold and invoice_id (from products on invoice) and calculate their product in fourth column. I know I sohuld use 'Totals' but how to achieve that ? Model:

    I have 2 tables: author with 3 millions of rows. book with 20 miles rows. . So I have benchmarked this query with a join: SELECT BENCHMARK(100000000, 'SELECT book.title, author.name FROM `book` , `author` WHERE book.id = author.book_id ') And this is the result: Query took 0.7438 sec ONLY 0.7438 seconds for 100 millions of query with a join ??? Do I make some mistakes or this is the right result ?

    Hello, So when your using ASP.NET Wizards to create a login, it uses a set of auto generated tables using the aspnet_regsql.exe tool... When you create a user using the wizard it generates a very long userID "a40cf936-1596-4560-a26c-450792e2c8c0" I want to add users using another program that connects to this database... but how does visual studio auto-generate this ID. I want to auto-generate it as well Any ideas? Thanks in advance. -Scott

    Yes it's Windows sorry. I'm using mysqldump with the option -T which creates a sql and a txt file per table. mysqldump -u user -ppass db -T path I use that option to be able to restore easily one table. Now I'd like to restore all the tables. mysql -u user -ppass db < path/*.sql Obvously doesn't work Also, I don't know where do my funcs/procs go. Thx

    I need to create a big array in my code, I have the values in several tables (for easy management). I select it and now I have all the values in an array, in memory in the way I want. My problem, I need to write this array down, into the code.
