There is no change on the view. Exit the program, and enter again, the image and title was changed. How can I refresh image and title of TTLauncherItem immediately? Thanks all~~

  • TreeView in Winforms and focus problem

    - by Marcus
Hi, Can anyone please explain to my why the form in the code below gets out of focus when selecting a treenode in the tree? What should happen is that the form/button should get the focus when the tree disappears like the listview example but it doesn't. Code example: using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.ComponentModel; using System.Data; using System.Drawing; using System.Text; using System.Windows.Forms; namespace FocusTest { public partial class Form1 : Form { #region Generated /// <summary> /// Required designer variable. /// </summary> private System.ComponentModel.IContainer components = null; • heroku time zone problem, logging local server time

    - by Ole Morten Amundsen
UPDATE: Ok, I didn't formulate a good Q to be answered. I still struggle with heroku being on -07:00 UTC and I at +02:200 UTC. Q: How do I get the log written in the correct Time.zone ? The 9 hours difference, heroku (us west) - norway, is distracting to work with. I get this in my production.log (using heroku logs): Processing ProductionController#create to xml (for 81.26.51.35 at 2010-04-28 23:00:12) [POST] How do I get it to write 2010-04-29 08:00:12 +02:00 GMT ? Note that I'm running at heroku and cannot set the server time myself, as one could do at your amazon EC2 servers. Below is my previous question, I'll leave it be as it holds some interesting information about time and zones. Why does Time.now yield the server local time when I have set the another time zone in my environment.rb config.time_zone = 'Copenhagen' I've put this in a view <p> Time.zone <%= Time.zone %> </p> <p> Time.now <%= Time.now %> </p> <p> Time.now.utc <%= Time.now.utc %> </p> <p> Time.zone.now <%= Time.zone.now %> </p> <p> Time.zone.today <%= Time.zone.today %> </p> rendering this result on my app at heroku Time.zone (GMT+01:00) Copenhagen Time.now Mon Apr 26 08:28:21 -0700 2010 Time.now.utc Mon Apr 26 15:28:21 UTC 2010 Time.zone.now 2010-04-26 17:28:21 +0200 Time.zone.today 2010-04-26 Time.zone.now yields the correct result. Do I have to switch from Time.now to Time.zone.now, everywhere? Seems cumbersome. I truly don't care what the local time of the server is, it's giving me loads of trouble due to extensive use of Time.now. Am I misunderstanding anything fundamental here?

  • Linq to SQL problem

    - by Ronnie Overby
I have a local collection of recordId's (integers). I need to retrieve records that have every one of their child records' ids in that local collection. Here is my query: public List<int> OwnerIds { get; private set; } ... filteredPatches = from p in filteredPatches where OwnerIds.All(o => p.PatchesOwners.Select(x => x.OwnerId).Contains(o)) select p; I am getting this error: Local sequence cannot be used in Linq to SQL implementation of query operators except the Contains() operator. I get that .All() isn't supported by Linq to SQL, but is there a way to do what I am trying to do?

  • Problem with Japanese/International Characters with IIS7 URL Rewrite

    - by percent20
I have a friend with a Japanese blog, using wordpress, he has the pretty url. Basically domain.com/postname. Well an example of a url might be. "domain.com/???". His blog is hosted on an Apache web server. I am running IIS7 and am trying to get my Japanese blog going like it should, and have "domain.com/???" show just that one post when you visit that url. My thinking is it has something to do with url-encoding. I can't find too much information on utf-8 or anything about getting international characters to work in a url. Any help on this would be great. I am thinking I should change something in the web.config file, but not to sure. I haven't had a lot of experience with IIS7. Thanks.

  • javascript eval backslash in window NT path problem

    - by Hammad Tariq
I am experiencing a classic JS case (in my opinion) but after a lot of googling, still not able to find a solution. Backslash is considered as a escape character in JS but what you need when you need to pass windows path from the JS and print it? I am using eval because my java applet is executing the code and placing bits when it has a string to evaluate. That's why eval is necessary, however I have made an example which is below: <div id="mainTabs"></div> <script> var s = "document.getElementById('mainTabs').innerHTML='\\C\ganye\file.doc'"; eval(s); </script> I tried double backslashes, not working, if anyone could help me get around this with as less hassle as possible, I will feel grateful.

  • A problem of trying to implement scrolling inertia with jQuery

    - by gargantaun
I'm trying to add some iPhone style scrolling inertia to a web page that will only be viewed on the iPad. I have the scrolling working in one direction (scrollLeft), but it doesn't work in the other direction. It's a pretty simple function function onTouchEnd(event){ event.preventDefault(); inertia = (oldMoveX - touchMoveX); // Inertia Stuff if( Math.abs(inertia) > 10 ){ $("#feedback").html(inertia); $("#container").animate({ 'scrollLeft': $("#container").scrollLeft() + (inertia * 10) }, inertia * 20); }else{ $("#feedback").html("No Inertia"); } } I've bound it to the 'touchend' event on the body. The intertia is the difference betweent he old moveX position and the latest moveX position when a touch ends. I then try to animate the scrollLeft property of a div that contains a bunch of thumbnails. As I've said, this works when scrolling to the left, but not when scrolling to the right. You can view the full source code (all in one page) or test it on your iPhone or iPad (or in the simulator) here http://www.appliedworks.co.uk/files/times/swipegal.html Any ideas?

  • Problem installing PEAR package with GMP extension requirement

I want to install the Crypt_DiffieHellman PEAR package, that gives me the following error: pear/Crypt_DiffieHellman requires PHP extension "gmp" So I installed the gmp extension (using MacPorts' "php5-gmp"), both php -m and extension_loaded('gmp') indicate that the extension is loaded. However I still get the PEAR error when I try to install the package. Am I missing something here? Or is this a (known) bug with the package/PEAR installer?

Attempting to load multiple values using this method results in the following error: Upload error : ERROR [42601] [IBM][DB2] SQL0104N An unexpected token "," was found following "". Expected tokens may include: "". SQLSTATE =42601 The SQL syntax matches that which I have read elsewhere, such as http://stackoverflow.com/questions/452859/inserting-multiple-rows-in-a-single-sql-query and IBM's documentation gives this example: cmd = conn.CreateCommand(); cmd.Transaction = trans; cmd.CommandText = "INSERT INTO company_a VALUES(5275, 'Sanders', 20, 'Mgr', 15, 18357.50), " + "(5265, 'Pernal', 20, 'Sales', NULL, 18171.25), " + "(5791, 'O''Brien', 38, 'Sales', 9, 18006.00)"; cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); Can anyone explain what could account for this?

Bitmap bmBild = new Bitmap(openFileDialog1.FileName.ToString()); // valid image int x = 0, y = 0; for (int i = 0; i <= (bmBild.Width * bmBild.Height - bmBild.Height); i++) { // Ändra text här richTextBox1.Text += "x"; richTextBox1.Select(i, 1); if (bmBild.GetPixel(x, y).IsKnownColor) { richTextBox1.SelectionColor = bmBild.GetPixel(x, y); } else { richTextBox1.SelectionColor = Color.Red; } if (x >= (bmBild.Width -1)) { x = 0; y++; richTextBox1.Text += "\n"; } x++; } GetPixel does return the correct colour, but the text only end up black. If I change this richTextBox1.SelectionColor = bmBild.GetPixel(x, y); to this richTextBox1.SelectionColor = Color.Red; It works fine. Why am I not getting the right colours? (I know it doesn't do the new lines properly, but I thought I'd get to the bottom of this issue first.) Thanks

  • Eye Detection Problem In Opencv

    - by iva123
Hi, I'm trying to convert this c code(http://nashruddin.com/OpenCV_Eye_Detection) to the python code, but in c style, he used cvROI thing, since ROI functions are not supported by python-opencv, I tried cvGetSubRect so Here is the eye detection part of the code : eye_region = cvGetSubRect(image,cvRect(face.x,int(face.y + (face.height/4)),face.width,int(face.height/2))) eyes = cvHaarDetectObjects(eye_region,eyeCascade,memo,1.15,3,0,cvSize(25,15)) for e in eyes: cvRectangle(image, cvPoint( int(e.x), int(e.y)), cvPoint(int(e.x + e.width), int(e.y + e.height)), CV_RGB(0, 255, 0), 1, 8, 0) return image; When I run this code, It draws rectangles irrelevant places. I thought, eye_region coordinates are wrong, and tried some coordinates, but it didn't work. Any idea ? Note :Face detection method works very well, and it's code is same with the eye detection method.

  • jQuery Autocomplete problem - Shift Key behaves same as Return Key

    - by user237005
See: http://www.airbnb.com/ In the search bar, start typing "san f" (no quotes, all lowercase), then hit Return (or Enter). "San Francisco" is autocompleted. This is good! Now clear the search field and start over. type "San F" and boom - "San Francisco" is autocompleted as soon as you hit Shift. This is not expected. This happens in FF & Safari, but is untested elsewhere. I've looked through the jQuery Autocomplete Source Code and everything looks normal. Has anyone experienced this before?

  • Problem installing RMagick rubygem on Centos 5

    - by Keith Pitty
I'm having problems installing the RMagick rubygem on Centos 5. I've followed the steps detailed in http://rmagick.rubyforge.org/install2-linux.html but when I try: sudo gem install rmagick the result is: Building native extensions. This could take a while... ERROR: Error installing rmagick: ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension. /usr/local/bin/ruby extconf.rb checking for Ruby version >= 1.8.5... yes checking for gcc... yes checking for Magick-config... no Can't install RMagick 2.11.0. Check the mkmf.log file for more details. You may need configuration options. Provided configuration options: --with-opt-dir --without-opt-dir --with-opt-include --without-opt-include=${opt-dir}/include --with-opt-lib --without-opt-lib=${opt-dir}/lib --with-make-prog --without-make-prog --srcdir=. --curdir --ruby=/usr/local/bin/ruby Gem files will remain installed in /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/rmagick-2.11.0 for inspection. I tried the following but the result was the same: sudo gem install rmagick -- --with-opt-dir=/usr/local/bin Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Bash Array Problem

    - by Deepak Prasanna
I wrote a bash script which tries to find a process and run the process if it had stopped. This is the script. #!/bin/bash process=thin path=/home/deepak/abc/ initiate=thin start -d process_id=`ps -ef | pgrep $process | wc -m` if [ "$process_id" -gt "0" ]; then echo "The process process is running!!" else cd $path $initiate echo "Oops the process has stopped" fi This worked fine and I thought of using arrays so that i can form a loop use this script to check multiple processes. So I modified my script like this #!/bin/bash process[1]=thin path[1]=/home/deepak/abc/ initiate[1]=thin start -d process_id=`ps -ef | pgrep $process[1] | wc -m` if [ "$process_id" -gt "0" ]; then echo "Hurray the process ${process[1]} is running!!" else cd ${path[1]} ${initiate[1]} echo "Oops the process has stopped" echo "Continue your coffee, the process has been stated again! ;)" fi I get this error if i run this script. DontWorry.sh: 2: process[1]=thin: not found DontWorry.sh: 3: path[1]=/home/deepak/abc/: not found DontWorry.sh: 4: initiate[1]=thin start -d: not found I googled to find any solution for this, most them insisted to use "#!/bin/bash" instead of "#!/bin/sh". I tried both but nothing worked. What am i missing?

  • Android project problem

    - by qwerty
Hello, here I uploaded my Android project made in Eclipse. The idea is that i have a service, which computes the sum of two random numbers. But when i press the OK Button, i don't see the result in that edit box... why? What i'm doing wrong? Please help Thanks! EDIT: The code: //service class package service; import java.util.Random; import com.android.AplicatieSuma; import android.widget.EditText; import android.widget.TextView; public class ServiciuSuma { public ServiciuSuma() { } public int CalculateSum() { Random generator=new Random(); int n=generator.nextInt(); int m=generator.nextInt(); return n+m; } } The Application class: package com.android; import android.app.*; import service.*; public class ApplicationSum extends Application { public ServiciuSuma service = new ServiciuSuma(); } and the main Activity class: package com.android; import com.android.R; import android.app.Activity; import android.content.Intent; import android.graphics.Color; import android.graphics.PorterDuffColorFilter; import android.graphics.drawable.Drawable; import android.graphics.PorterDuff; import android.os.Bundle; import android.provider.Settings; import android.view.View; import android.view.View.OnClickListener; import android.widget.EditText; import android.view.Menu; import android.view.MenuInflater; import android.view.MenuItem; public class Activitate extends Activity { /** Called when the activity is first created. */ @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); View btn_ok = findViewById(R.id.btn_ok); btn_ok.setOnClickListener(new OnClickListener() { public void onClick(View v) { CalculeazaSuma(); } }); } private void CalculeazaSuma() { AplicatieSuma appState = ((AplicatieSuma)this.getApplication()); EditText txt_amount = (EditText)findViewById(R.id.txt_amount); txt_amount.setText(appState.service.CalculateSum()); //BindData(); } } So that edit text does not show the sum of the random generated numbers, by the service. What's wrong? • SQL Server 2008 Express Edition Connection Problem

    - by waqasahmed
I have VS 2008 Professional Edition. After the installation (which included SQL Server 2008), I decided to install SQL Server 2008 Express Edition with Advanced Tools (so I could get SQL Server Management Studio on it). So I uninstalled the SQL Express that came with VS 2008, and installed the standalone SQL Server Express 2008 version with advanced tools. However, When I try to logon onto SQL Server Management Studio using: .\SQLEXPRESS as Server name and Windows Authentication as the authentication, I get the following message: TITLE: Connect to Server ------------------------------ Cannot connect to .\SQLEXPRESS. ------------------------------ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: -1) For help, click: http//go.microsoft.com/fwlink?ProdName=Microsoft+SQL+Server&EvtSrc=MSSQLServer&EvtID=-1&LinkId=20476 ------------------------------ BUTTONS: OK ------------------------------ Any suggestions on how to get it to work? I have tried disabling Windows Firewall as well and still no luck. I am using WIndows Vista and SQL Server 2008 Express SP1 Patch has also been applied recently.
