• Php referrer works or not?

  I need to know the referring server for a page on my site. Is there any safe method to check where the user "came" to the page FROM? I tried uploading this to my server, but this wont output anything at all when I write the adress to the file in the browsers adress bar: <?php echo $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']; ?> I need to check this in order to display a link on the page or not... • localhost problem internet explorer

  Hello everyone I have installed xampp 1.7.3. After starting apache and mysql service when I write http://localhost/ in the internet explorer address bar it shows 'The page cannot be displayed'. But for Firefox it creates no problem and shows Xampp index.php page. Now how can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance

  Is there any CSS property to deal window resolution. I created a HTML page taking total resolution width as 1424px.When I open it on different resolution I see a scroll bar & resolution of HTML does not adjust automatically. I don't want the scrollbar to be seen in maximized size of the page. Is it possible without using javascript.At the same time how to increase the resolution when itself is created in lower res.

  The iPhone Mail application has an edit button in the navigation bar. Tapping that button shows a delete button in the toolbar and shows checkbox controls in the table cells. I am trying to style a progress bar using CSS in a JSP page but get this error when using chrome's developer tools: Resource interpreted as image but transferred with MIME type text/plain. <%@ include file="../include/css/default.css" % And in the CSS file: background:url(../images/bg_bar.gif) no-repeat 0 0; Could anyone explain why this is and show how I can use this CSS in my page?

• Phantom horizontal scroll bars on the whole window in IE.

  I'm working on a website layout you can find at dev.movingcost.com In most browsers, everything seems fine... but I'm getting a horizontal scroll bar on the window when viewing the page in IE. I'm using a fixed width of 960px with auto margins to center the content. I've even tried using "overflow-x:hidden" on the html and body tags to no avail... any clue where the problem is?

  here is what i see in IB and here is what appears in the simulator i've used a segmented control with style = "Bezelled". When i change the style to "Bar", IB and simulator are consistent in the display. the style is set in interface builder and not in code, if that matters Also - the edges look rather ugly in the simulator. not what i expected even when it rendered incorrectly.
