I'm searching a tool for generating UML-Diagrams by the import of SQL-Syntax-Files.
I need it for personal usage. Best if it's free or if there is a free trial license available.
As for C programming, one of the rules when we create new version of existing shared library is that we can't decrease the size of struct defined in that library.
Why does this have to be obeyed?
[root@jiaoyou ~]# test 1 = 1 -a 0 = 1
[root@jiaoyou ~]# if [1 = 1 -a 0 = 1]then echo 1;else echo 2;fi
-bash: syntax error near unexpected token `else'
Why test doesn't give any output and the if statement fails?
Can someone point out what's wrong here?
I am trying to do the following in a bit of python code:
class Parent:
class Child(Parent):
pass
And it does not work. Is there any python syntax I can use to achieve the same result?
Thanks.
I wonder that, why are we using ({ }) ?
Is it delegate ?
What does it mean to use this syntax ?
What are we wrapping with it ?
For ex:
$.ajaxSetup ({ // <-- THIS
error: fError,
compelete: fComp,
success: fSucc
}); // <-- AND THIS
I have a workspace with which I have 5 applications based on same schema. Now I want to have a main page from where I could call main pages of all these applications. I used this syntax to call home page in another application but to no avail
f?p=4000:4150:&APP_SESSION.
Where 4000:4150 are the values for the application and the page I want to display.
Please let me know where am I making mistake.
I would like to create a query on a field which after a certain number of characters adds/displays a number of dots to show the user that there is additional text to read. At the moment there is a syntax error using the following code in which it doesn't like the "Left" instruction:
X:IIF(len(description) > 5, Left(description, 5) & "....", description)
Note: "X" is what i am naming the field 'description' in my query screen in Access
Dear Everyone,
Is there a better shell than the native mongo shell?
When I press UP I am seeing
^[[A . Does the shell not support
last query?
Tabbing in the shell
does not autocomplete either.
Of course, if there's a shell with syntax
highlighting that would be great
Is there an alternative that has the following features? (Or at least has some of them).
Hi everyone

Thanks for help.
I've been looking into memory management a lot recently and have been looking at how events are managed, now, I'm seeing the explicit add/remove syntax for the event subscription.
I think it's pretty simple, add/remove just allows me to perform other logic when I subscribe and unsubscribe? Am I getting it, or is there more to it?
Also, while I'm here, any advice / best practices for cleaning up my event handles.
Hi
I am using visual studios 2010 and created a javascript file(jscript.js) and I saw on one page saying you can make constant variables in javascript like:
const x = 20;
bu to on another page I read it says you can't. So I am confused now what is it now?
Also in Visual studios when I write "const" it underlines it in the javascript file and goes syntax error.
I have a url /embed?t=X and I want to redirect it to /page/embed/X where X is any number of alpha numeric characters.
I know must redirect rules go the other way but for the purpose of the applciation I need to reverse it.
Any ideas?
I have tried things like:
RedirectRule ^embed\?t\=([a-zA-Z0-9]+)$ /page/embed/$1
but with no luck.
I always considered database as a storage .
but never thought it can be used for querying across tables etc.
Which is a good book for sql for a developer. not just the syntax.
How to write a query in different ways
How internally queries are executed.etc
especially related to microsoft sql server
ie6 isn't playing nice with my jquery snippet, why is this throwing a syntax error in IE6
if(typeof isIE6 !="undefined"){
$("#dropdown-list li").hover(
function(){ $(this).addClass("hover"); },
function(){ $(this).removeClass("hover"); },
);
};
update p
set
p.storePrice =
CASE
WHEN
p.costPrice BETWEEN 0.00 AND 1.00
THEN p.costPrice * 1.0
CASE
WHEN
p.costPrice BETWEEN 0.00 AND 1.00
THEN p.costPrice * 1.0
ELSE
p.msrpPrice
END
FROM product p
WHERE p.type = 1
The error says:
Msg 156, Level 15, State 1, Line 9
Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'CASE'.
I can't seem to see any issue with the sql?
Hi,
I want to find an element by class name. I know it will appear in a particular parent div, so rather than search the entire dom, I'd like to search only the particular div. I am trying this, but does not seem to be the correct syntax:
var element = $("#parentDiv").(".myClassNameOfInterest");
what's the right way to do that?
Thanks
Reading the syntax from autohotkey, I am trying to achieve this. But the first step of selecting the entire line is not working:-
F5::
send {Shift Home}
return
I have tried few others too, but its not working. This is not sending Shift+Home combination on pressing F5 key.
Please tell me what's wrong with this?
Also if possible, what to do next?, as if I will write
send {F5}
I believe, it will recursively fire this script again and again..
Hi, I would like to include (and by include I mean put in resources folder for viewing, not #include) apple's headers in my iPad programming app, can I do this or would this be against the rules?
By textbook based i mean the author asks the reader questions/mini projects after every section/chapter of the book. And the book includes background info on php 5, like what kind of language, its use, syntax/semantix/structure etc. Any suggestions?
Hi
I know the spec allows both ' and " as delimiters for attribute values, and I also know it's a good practice to always quote.
However I consider " being the cleaner way, maybe it's just me having grown up with C and C++' syntax.
What is the cleanest way of quoting attribute values and why? Please no subjective answers.
The line cmd.ExecuteNonQuery();
cmd.CommandText
CREATE TRIGGER subscription_trig_0 ON subscription AFTER INSERT AS UPDATE user_data SET msg_count=msg_count+1 FROM user_data
JOIN INSERTED ON user_data.id = INSERTED.recipient;
The exception:
Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'TRIGGER'.
Then using VS 2010, connected to the very same file (a mdf file) i run the query above and i get a success message. WTF!
<script ID="clientEventHandlersVBS" LANGUAGE="vbscript">
s=pass()
y=s
</script>
<%
session("password")=y
Response.write(session("password"))
Response.write(y)
%>
i have this code. but nothing is getting stored inside the session variable neither anything is getting printed. cant i access the variables declared outside the asp code or is their any syntax mistake. any help is really appreciated
I'm have a number rows I'm inserting into a table using -insertRowsAtIndexPaths:withRowAnimation, and I would like the rows to be indented from the left to distinguish them from the rest of the cells. The indentationLevel property of UITableViewCell looks like it's exactly what I need, but it doesn't seem to do anything. Here's the code I'm using to set the indentation level (dot syntax doesn't make a difference):
[cell setIndentationWidth:10];
[cell setIndentationLevel:1];
Is indentationLevel what I want, or should I be looking elsewhere?
