  • CKEditor disable HTML transformation

    I've got a problem with CKEditor. Especially the br- and img-Tags are transformed to not be valid. In the source-view I see and but when I inspect the rte-source the slashes are gone as well as when submitting the form. Can someone tell me where I can disable this or enable XHTML-conformity? The embedding page is XHTML. Thank to any hints, ideas or solutions.

However, I'd like to be able to change my app settings from within my app. It seems as though there should be some kind of generic way to add this functionality to my app without having to recreate all the controls myself.     I have a Rails forum product that resides under the subdomains of my customers (i.e. http://forum.customer.com). Their main site has a CMS and an authentication system, and my forum product has a separate authentication system. Is there an elegant way to have "cross-signins" across these systems? I want someone already logged into the main CMS to seamlessly (as possible) transition into my product.

  • Java: Detect if image isGIF or isTIFF and convert to JPG

    I have a Java website, now Ive build an uploader, the validation for JPG images is done and a way to save it into the server it is too. But now I need to create an utility class using isGIF and isTIFF validated them by byte[] and convert that byte[] to java.awt.Image to save as JPG So basically I need boolean isGIF(byte[]), boolean isTIFF(byte[]), java.awt.Image convertGIF(byte[]) and java.awt.Image convertTIFF(byte[]). But I have no idea how to do it, could someone help me please? Thank you!
