    I am working on a daily basis on a web application with very large menus. Also doing lots of other Excel manipulations, copy and pasting, etc., I am quite fond of keyboard shortcuts as much faster than using the mouse to point, double-click and then going back to my keyboard etc. Hence, my question is quite simple, does anyone know if there is any shortcut under Firefox which would let me actually select (and not highlight) in my web page the search result so that I can for instance do the following manipulation sequence? [Ctrl]+[F] type the search string, for instance 'regional_unit' the missing shortcut to actually select in my page the string which is currently highlighted thanks to the search feature of FF [Space] or [Enter] key to activate the web element which in my case would systematically correspond to a link or button, etc. May be there would be an addon replacing the default search feature, I don't know... I tried to look over the internet but with the words I am using for this investigation, I do not get relevant search results under Google :(. Thanks a lot

  • How can I clear the "authentication cache" in Windows 7 to a password protected samba share?

    I have a Linux samba server and have explicitly listed users that can access the folder. I have successfully congfigured Samba to require a username and password when accessing the share from windows (using the smbpasswd, etc.). But now I want to force clear the auth cache on the windows machine. Such as when I go to a colleague's computer, I use my account to access a file in the protected share, but then before I leave his computer, i'll want to make sure the authorization cache is cleared so he cannot access that folder with my credentials. I found the command to use in the windows command prompt on google a couple of weeks ago but silly me I didn't save it... Hope someone can help, thanks! Oh, Samba is configured as a workgroup and not a domain (if that helps) - so windows users do NOT log into a domain on start up. thanks!

  • first of all nice work,, how to redirect the url of old modified directries

    I really appreciate your hard work after searching lot of web i cannot find the answer so if you get time please try to find what i should so the problem is its a website for classifieds ads before i modified or better word edited the category name but its still showing up in Google index and even in browser URL so is there any way to by pass or redirect it to new one i tried .htaccess but cant get the the result here is the both URL list before modification http://adsbuz.com/vehicles-cars/other-vehicles/selling-my-2010-toyota-sequioa-19500-9585.htm after editing category name (modified one) http://adsbuz.com/vehicles-cars-for-sale/other-vehicles/selling-my-2010-toyota-sequioa-19500-9585.htm (edited category name was before ""vehicles-car"" and after editing is ""vehicles-cars-for-sale"" as you can see both URL opens and not good for seo. and is there any way some one opens wrong url but page opens only with corect url automatically just like in your site.. consider me new in this market and want little help here (the website is in php) thanks Really appreciate your quick response thanks kath

Thanks I recently installed php 5.2.17 I ran a program which connect with a https server and I got the following error Notice: file_get_contents(): Unable to find the wrapper "https" - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP? in C:\java\newsweaver-api-v2\simple\list- tags.php on line 30 I added extension=php_openssl.dll to php.ini but I'm wondering is openssl native to php 5.2.17 or do I need to download an extntion.   • Odd Language In a BIOS Message

    So I started up my laptop today and was greeted with the following message (not a direct quote): The type of the AC adapter cannot be determined. This may interfere with your computer's performance. Try unplugging the AC adapter and then plugging it back in, thanks. The problem was that I hadn't fully secured the plug into the back of the computer. However, I was a little taken aback when a message from BIOS said, "thanks." Is this normal? Any chance the message was illegitimate (virus)?

  • What is the @ sign on the end of file permission on terminal?

    I have a sound file in my app that the iPhone does not play. After checking other problems I checked the file permission in terminal. What I can see is that the file permission of this file has a- @ at the end of it. I don't know if that is the problem but this is the only difference from the other sound files that plays fine. What is this sign ? Could it cause a problem ?   • MSWord table shading prints too dark

    My friend has a very light shading in his MSWord tables. However they still print too dark to read the text. When emailed to a colleague using the same printer, it prints light nicely. However they cannot find any setting that is different between them. Any ideas? Thanks! (P.s. for myself this would help for non-tables also, when 'highlighting' text. I do know that 'shading' gives more colour options for non-tables, but it would be nice to know anyway. Thanks)

Usually these are email where I am not the primary recipient, but I am referenced at some point as having to perform some action. This point may occur after several responses to a thread. E.g.: Hello B, Hello A, Dear all, Could someone give me feedback on document X? Thanks, A. Please find my remarks below: ... Best, B. Thank you for the feedback. I have incorporated it in the document. C, can you make a final proof-reading pass and post it online? Thanks, A. Is there a way in thunderbird to highlight the sentence/paragraph where my name ("C" in this example) or some other configurable keyword occurs, so that I can easily check if I have to take action? Note that I am looking for a way to identify the part of the message that directly concerns me and not which messages concern me. So, filters/tags won't really help.

    I am looking for some ideas on what would be the best way to discover and manage network storage. Discovery: Any good tools that will scan hosts and storage devices and report back their findings? Maybe using SNMP or WMI? Management: I'm currently looking at Storage Manager by Solar Winds, but it is a bit pricey. Any good open source projects like this? Just looking for ideas of how to get better visibility into the storage infrastructure on this network. It includes a HP Lefthand Iscsi san and EC VNX san.
