  I have tried to use twitter API in my application using MGTwiiterEngine, I think Ih ave configured all thing but while I am running the app by giving my username and password. The delegate of the MGTwitterEngine was called with the 0 statuses and also the numberOfConnections=0. twitterEngine = [[MGTwitterEngine alloc] initWithDelegate:self]; [twitterEngine setUsername:username password:password]; [twitterEngine getRepliesStartingAtPage:0]; Can any one please help me out. • Eclipse vs Netbeans

  Some time ago (~4-5months ago) I attented a lecture about JEE and at some point the lecturer started talking about webservices and how hard it is to create a good one because all the IDEs make them in a bit different way (or something like that) and that in general it's better to use Netbeans to create them as Eclipse has some issues, the thing is he didn't really say why Eclipse is bad. Now I'm wondering is what he said true and why, is it really better to use Netbeans for webservices and why?

• How can one check for a binary in the GAC in a WiX installer?

  I have an application which depends on the Team Foundation Server "Object Model", and looks for such binaries in the GAC. This means that clients of the app need to install Visual Studio, or the standalone TFS object model in order to use the application. I would like the installer to detect that the TFS bits aren't installed, and fail to install appropriately if they are not. Is such a thing possible?

• Invoking web service methods from code-behind

  The application on which I am working has a web service exposing various methods. Most of these methods use WebOperationContext.Current to set headers up to prevent cacheing. This works fine when the service methods are consumed in AJAX via the generated proxy, but when I attempt to do the same thing from code-behind, WebOperationContext.Current is null. Can anyone tell me how to confer appropriate call context on the method invocation?

• JList with custom renderer

  Hello, I have a JList that shows multiple JPanels on them , i have created a custom renderer that returns a new JPanel. The JPanels are displayed in the JList but they are not accessible, i cant select them and if i have a button or a text area in it i can not press it. I want to try if this works in a JList because i want to do further pagination. I managed to get it work by adding panels to a Jscroll pane, but would love to make the JList thing work. Thanks

I get this error: Commit failed: Failed to create a new commit. That seems that nobody is having. I've already deleted the folder and cloned again, no escape. What to do? • What is more correct class name or object name in UML sequence diagram?

  I was just wondering if it is more correctly to as a label of objects in UML sequence diagram instead of object name (which is irrelevant in my opinion and less informative than class name) provide class name. Another thing, while returning information instead of listing all objects names would it be a better solution to just write collection; Diagram with object names: Diagram with class names: As it's clearly visible from the second diagram that it is much more informative than the first one, and I think it is more practical.

If I do this: StreamReader reader = process.StandardOutput; reader.ReadToEnd(); Is it guaranteed to get the last thing flushed out to the program's STDOUT in its entirety? Or is kind of like TCP where I'd have to have a message terminator or length header?

• DataContractSerializer: preserve string member that happens to be raw xml?

  I'm a little inexperienced with the DataContract paradigm, and I'm running into a deserialization problem. I have a field that's a string, but it contains xml and it's not being deserialized correctly. I have a feeling that it's because the DCS is treating it as input to the serializer and not as an opaque string object. Is there some way to mark a DataMember in code to say "This thing is a string, don't treat its contents as xml" similar to XmlIgnore? Thanks!
