  I am trying to convert an Adobe CS4 based plugin to CS5. This project has never been mine, this is the first time that i am seeing it. When I compile the source with what i was given, I get errors like: Does not name a type Example: SPAPI SPErr SPBasicAcquireSuite( const char *name, int64 version, const void **suite ); I get that: SPErr does not name a type I dont see any classes with SPErr being defined, but I doubt that Adobe has left this out of the SDK. I am using the PS_CS5_SDK_3 SDK

Atm our pages come in pdf format so we need a way to export text and images from the pdf so that they can be added to a database.   Is there a way to implement auto-complete functionality in a region defined by textarea tags or something similar? I'm currently using a jquery autocomplete plugin to suggest input to the user inside input tags, but the issue is that the autocomplete phrases can often be fairly long and thus scroll off the edge of the input field.

  I'm building my first website with rails,it consists of a blog, a few static pages and a photo gallery. The admin section has namespaced controllers. I also want to create a mailing list, collecting contact info, (maybe a spree store in the future too.) Should I just use basic http authentication and check if the user is admin? Or is a plugin like authlogic better, then define user roles even though there would only be two; admin and user?

• Is it possible to return the "highlighted" (like Firebug) css selector or dom id with jquery?

  Hi Folks, When you click the "Click an element on the page to inspect" arrow with FireBug, it puts a Blue Border around the target element, and also returns the DOM Id. I am building an application and that feature would be awesome to add. Be able to hover over elements and highlight the target, upon clicking return the DOM Id or CSS selector to the application. Is there a jquery plugin that does this magic? Some other smart way? Thanks!, Jonathan

  I put a list strings as validTypes in velocity. When I do : #if (${validTypes}.contains("aaa")) // do something #end it throws an error. But when I do : #foreach (${validType} in ${validTypes}) ${validType} #end it works fine. Do I need to use velocity tools for this? How do I use it in an eclipse plugin? Are there any work around without using velocity tools?

I have followed all the tutorials on the developer site for installing Eclipse, the SDK and the ADT plugin.   Hi, Is it possible to somehow listen to all perforce cammands issued from my machine to the perforce server? I did some googling yesterday and found a page somewhere about a perforce proxy or broker that would intercept perforce commands and allow you to do what you wanted with them before sending them to the server...and now can't find the page!
