• Why can't I mount the Ubuntu 12.04 installer ISOs in Mac OS X?

  Over the past few days, I have downloaded both the 32 and 64 bit version of server and desktop to install on an Intel based PC. It is normal from within OS X to double click on an ISO and it will mount the ISO in the finder as well as within disk utility. When I attempt to mount any of the Ubuntu ISOs I downloaded, OS X returns the error message The following disk images couldn't be opened. The reason given for the error is no mountable filesystem. However, I am still able to open the ISO directly from disk utility and burn it to a DVD/CD. What has changed in this release to cause this? Is there something wrong with the current ISOs? The OS X machine I am using is only two weeks old and is having no issues with any other ISO.

  I currently run a Wedding Car website that is ranking in the top 5 for my local area, its not doing so well outside of that. I have listed the company in Google Business so it shows in the SERP and I have a Facebook and Twitter account linked, that I update regularly. I know keeping content fresh is important but nothing much changes so I am unsure what options I have? Should I create a blog and talk about the cars, weddings etc? I am totally unsure where to go with this website, the site currently has a few images and a small amount of text. Things I am considering, but would like advice on: A Mobile version of the website A Blog on the website A gallery page with pictures and descriptions Asking local companies to link to my website Essentially I have a small business website but not much content, because really there isnt!   I tried to install Ubuntu 12.04 several times on my macbookpro 7.1 but each times it crashed. I burned a liveCD - desktop 64bits, and launched it. • Picasa(installed using Wine) unable to access some NTFS partitions again in Ubuntu 14.04?

  Recently I installed Picasa in my Ubuntu 14.04 using Wine. After performing a Wine configuration I was able to access all the images in the NTFS partitions on my hard disk. I performed Wine configuration as said in Why can an application installed using Wine not access NTFS partitions?. After 3 days, it became unable to access 2 NTFS partitions. But I can access 1 NTFS partition(named E, see image below). As you can see in the screenshot, I am unable to expand both D and F. How can I fix this issue permanently ?

  Im not sure if i use the right terms, but im not able to find something to start with. Im trying to develop a little HTML5 game. I have a ground with a texture and now I want to make a surrounding texture. The texture is an image wich should be bend around the ground. At the moment im using easelJS for display my images/textures. So im looking for some sort of Tutorial/Script/Advice. Im not even sure if I can bend a image in javascript. So the worst case I can think of is split the image in 100 pieces and then put it back together and rotate each piece. for example like this:

  I have this sprite I have to animate. The sprite is 7 images total but animation is 10 frames (2 positions are repeated). The order I want to go through the frames is like this: 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - 0 - 2. My problem is how can I skip 1 frame once I reach the end of each direction? The reason I want to skip is to save me from creating duplicate positions in the spritesheet. I'm doing this in Javascript.

  I am running Ubuntu 12.04 on my laptop for some time now. Since the first day only I have been facing the problem with icon images of some application not appearing up. It causes a lot of inconvenience in locating/identifying an application to be launched. I have updated my Ubuntu with the latest build today only but still the problem persists. I have googled around and tried everything relevant available out there but with no success. Please note that reinstalling Ubuntu is NOT an option right now.

  I have news based website, in which primary contents include news,image albums and videos. out of these i have copy rights for images and videos are just youtube embedded videos. Coming to news my site is kind of a mashup. It gathers data from various sites and presents them in more user friendly way for quick digestion and access. My problem here is that since the news part of the site can be found from other sites, my site could suffer in search rankings. Is there any solution to this. One thing I thought of is to put disallow on all the news ariticles pages, so google does not crawl them. Will this be helpful to me. I saw this thing called the "impossible object", while they're many different images of this online, it's suppost to be impossible geometry.
