  • Automatically resize TableLayoutPanel

    I have a programmatically created TableLayoutPanel. It works fine but I couldn't find something: how can I make it size columns automatically when the form is resized? The panel is set to Dock.Top and when I resize the form instead of sizing every column as percents, only last column grows. What can I do for this? Here's how I add ColumnStyle for each column: this.tablePanelFilter.ColumnStyles.Add( new ColumnStyle(SizeType.Percent,Convert.ToSingle( Math.Ceiling((decimal)100 / (decimal)columnCount))));

    I have a solution that I am trying to build in Visual Studio which gives the following error. Project : error PRJ0019: A tool returned an error code from "Copy the executable to HAMR platform" The last few lines of the build log are as follows: Copy the executable to HAMR platform The system cannot find the path specified. Project : error PRJ0019: A tool returned an error code from "Copy the executable to HAMR platform" I understand that there may be a wrong path mentioned in the code but as there is no line number to the error I don't know how to detect the source of the problem

    Hello, are all "Standard Compliant (HTTP RFC?)" Web-Servers forced to "somehow" provide some methods to get all Parameters with the same name as some kind of list/array? Or will will using the same parameter name lead to overwriting: Example: http://www.stackoverflow?myparam=value1&myparam=value2 Will this lead to myparam holding the values "value1,value2" or only "value2" (due to overwriting and only using the last one). Is this behaviour mandated by some standard? thanks bernhard

    Hi I have a JSON string that looks like this (Usingt Rails and a REST service) { person: { name:"Pepe", last:"Smith" hats:[ { team:"lakers", color:"purple"}, { team:"heats", color:"red" }] } } I want to be able to able to get that JSON, and save the Person to the database, but I want to save the "hats".. as a string to the database; without parsing it or anything like that i.e. I want to save this to SQL: hats = "[ { team:"lakers", color:"purple"}, { team:"heats", color:"red" }] }" Is there a way to do this in rails?

So why does this cause my app to crash on launch? (commenting out the last line fixes the problem, as expected)

  • Getting a KeyError in DB backend of django-digest

    I have just started to integrate django_digest into my app. As a start I have added the @httpdigest decorator to one of my views. If I try to connect to it I get a KeyError exception thrown in django_digest/backend/db.py . Depending on which db I configure I get a different KeyError in a different location. I am using Django 1.2.1, with MySql (also tested with sqlite). I am using the default values for all the settings options. As far as I can see I have followed all instructions but am struggling all day with this. I am using the repository versions of django-digest and python-digest. Any steer would be greatly appreciated. TextBox has KeyDown event handler, the idea behind this is to allow user to press up and down keys to scroll inside ListBox while focus is on TextBox. When user presses "down key" several times, selected element becomes last visible element on screen. If user has reached bottom of visible list element on screen, I want him to see next element after selected element as well.

My question is Isn't it easier to use a pure Object Oriented database in development applications? Why Object Oriented database are not as much diffuse as relational? From my point of view makes sense to use OO database, the latter will avoid the numerous construction necessary for the mapping of complex objects on the tables.

    Looking at the Nant and Nantcontrib repositories at Sourceforge I noticed that the last release of Nant is from December 7th 2007 and the latest release of Nantcontrib is from October 15th 2006! So, is it looks like the development of these tools has stalled for a while. Is anyone still working on those tools? Is it smart to invest my time into getting proficient on Nant, or should I just invest the time into MSBUILD?
