When ever I plug in my iPhone into my work computer Word 2007 decides it wants to start up. How do I make it stop? Is it a registry deal, or is there an windows interface that I'm unaware of.   • Show cell selection in Excel when not in focus

    It's really annoying that Excel (2003 and 2007) doesn't show what cell, row or column that is selected when the window is not in focus. I typically want to refer to the current cell or row while working in another application. Is there any workaround or fix that will make the cell/row highlighted when not in focus? I know that you can copy a cell (Ctrl+C) but it's kind of tiresome to do that every time.

  • Importer or converter for ClarisWorks cwk format?

    I have several ClarisWorks documents (*.CWK) that I'd like to import into a more modern format like Microsoft Word or Open Office. It seems Star Office can apparently open cwk files, but the product is discontinued and cannot be downloaded any more. There has been a feature request to add a cwk importer to OpenOffice since 2002, so I doubt that OpenOffice will support cwk files any time soon. Are there any utilities that can open a cwk file besides ClarisWorks itself?

  • Small Business Server 2011 and Remote access to documents

    Assume I'm working away from the office; its a hotel computer Windows 7, Office 2010 and fast - so the best possible conditions. Using Companyweb - Every time I open a document, I have to go through the logon process - seems odd to have to do that. Is this a 'by design' feature or is something wrong with my configuration? When I do open the documents, are they being stored somewhere locally and should I be looking to delete on this computer - or are they in a temporary file?

    Hi, Im using windows 2007 server 64 bit OS, I've uploaded the snap shot of my task manager when minimum processes running It shows Total memory 8190 mb *Cached memory 4315 mb* Free 3402 mb So effectively I get only 3402 mb of total RAM usage My question here is more than half is used for cached memory is there any means I can decrease this cached memory inturn I can increase my free memory. I need to do this because my Application requires at least 5GB RAM and it crashed when run in this system. Please give me a solution for this Thanks in advance

  • How to determine which image(s) in a word document is unusually large?

    I have a word 2007 document that is now 7MB in size that is being edited by many folks. I would like to figure out which of the many images in the document is the 'culprit'. My hunch is likely one or two of them is a bitmap or some other large image. In smaller documents when this is happened I can do it by trial and error: Remove an Image Save the File Check File size repeat Is there a more elegant solution to this issue?

  • Add send/receive to Outlook systray icon?

    Is it possible to add a send/receive action to the Outlook 2007 system tray right-click context menu? It's a little annoying to have to open the whole interface just to run this simple action manually. I have searched for an answer, but could only find two other unanswered questions. If there's no particular answer as of yet, would it make more sense to explore making a plug-in like this one to keep running in the systray when closed, or to look for a registry hack, or something else entirely?

    Hello I'm trying to read a dataset as xml and load it into an XML Document. XmlDocument contractHistoryXMLSchemaDoc = new XmlDocument(); using (MemoryStream ms = new MemoryStream()) { //XmlWriterSettings xmlWSettings = new XmlWriterSettings(); //xmlWSettings.ConformanceLevel = ConformanceLevel.Auto; using (XmlWriter xmlW = XmlWriter.Create(ms)) { xmlW.WriteStartDocument(); dsContract.WriteXmlSchema(xmlW); xmlW.WriteEndDocument(); xmlW.Close(); using (XmlReader xmlR = XmlReader.Create(ms)) { contractHistoryXMLSchemaDoc.Load(xmlR); } } } But I'm getting the error - "Root Element Missing". Any ideas? Update When i do xmlR.ReadInnerXML() it is empty. Does anyone know why? NLV

  • Element is already the child of another element.

    I get the folowing error in my Silverlight application. But i cant figure out what control it is that is the problem. If i debug it don't break on anything in the code, it just fails in this framework callstack with only framework code. Is there any way to get more information on what part of a Silverlight app that is the problem in this case.
