• C# Web Browser with click and highlight

  Before I go off and code this, I thought I'd see if anyone here knows of any open source (or paid for) equivalents already built. I'm looking for a browser control where users can preview a web page and then highlight elements of it and once highlighted, I can get the div or id of the element selected. Has anyone seen such a thing?

• Submit form from greybox window to main window

  Hi everyone, I'm using greybox and trying the following thing: I want to make a form inside the pop-up so when the users submit's it, the request goes to the main window and the pop-up closes. I know the way to close the window is by using onclick="parent.parent.GB_hide()", but I really haven't been able to find a way to make the pop-up close and the data sent to the corresponding controller when the form is submitted. I'm using Zend FW. Thanks in advance, I really appreciate what this community does.

  Hi, I first learned C++ then moved to C (I know kind of backwards) and then I found a thing called iTunes U and began watching programming classes to extend my knowledge and noticed that Stanford and MIT both did not teach C or C++ as an introduction to computer programming. Then I began to wonder why they didn't begin teaching C/C++ because I thought C/C++ was more efficient than Java (which Stanford taught) and Python (which MIT taught). Or maybe there is no particular reason?

• How do I get Nunit to run selenium tests against different servers?

  I have an Nunit test which uses selenium RC to run tests against our UI. I want to run the tests against 2 different servers, which means having the call to selenium.open() with 2 different servers. However, I don't want to have 2 different Nunit test suites that do the same thing but against different servers. I need a way of passing parameters from Nant or the Nunit driver program to specific which server to test against. Is there anyway to do this?

• Input type "Text" to have a blurred text, which dissappears onFocus?

  Some websites have forms with input type="text". And inside these textboxes there is a blurred text, which says for example: "Enter your name here". And then onClick or OnFocus or whatever, the text dissappears and you can type into the textbox. Like the title of posting a question here at stackoverflow, same thing. How is this done easiest way? Would prefer if there was not too much js involved. Thanks

• Make openGL lines connected

  Right now I'v created a polygon, then I do the same thing but with line_loop to draw the outline. My issue right now is if I set the line thickness to high, the lines arn't connected. Their ends would need to be (linewidth) longer... is there a way to fix this? Thanks

• Are there any scripts to synchronize sites?

  I've just set up a fail-over DNS to switch the site to a second host if the first is down. This is great for showing an old / archived version of the site, but I suspect maintenance is going to be a real pain. I moved the files over with rsync in the first place. Is this the kinda thing that could be run as a cron job, automatically moving over newer files?
