  • Stop Windows 2003 queued error messages

    Hello, Each time I reboot a Windows 2003 server, after Windows has restared I get message dialogs for all the application crashes that happened since the last reboot. So after each reboot I have to click "Don't send" countless times, for crashes that happened weeks before. How can the display of these error messages be stopped?     I followed Windows instructions, and turned on several parts of IIS. But http://localhost isn't working, and I don't see the IIS entry in Administrative Tools either. I only want to use SSI, not ASP(.net) or FTP. What should I check and why isn't it working? It didn't ask me to restart Windows, is that required?

    Hi I try to show the Mail Control Panel item in Windows 2008 R2. I only type the Name "Mail" in to the "Show only specified Contol Panel items Properties" in the Group Policy. In Windows 2008 R2 that doesn't work and theres no item in the Control Panel to configure Outlook 2010 Profiles. I already tried with: Mail and Mail(32-bit).   • How to copy a windows 7 user profile when changing domains

    I need to connect my machine to a new domain soon. When I do so a new user profile will be created and I would like to copy all the settings/data from the old profile to the new one. This is a local profile only (no roaming). Running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit. I found this previous question on the same topic, it however only seems to address Windows XP and the solutions do not seem to apply to Win7.

    I'm using the EXPORT feature in Hyper-V to move a large Virtual Machine (VM) over a 1GB network from a Windows 2008 to a Windows 2008 R2 box (200GB) and its so intense that I get the following icon on my destination Hyper-V manager: Is this expected? Is there another way to get large file across the network and minimize this intense I/O effect? Anyones else ever seen that Do Not Enter sign? The other VMs are functional but slow, but I'm guessing that is expected.

    Hi, When I burn my files to a DVD using the Windows 7 drag and drop I can't actually see my files. Windows doesn't seem to finsih the DVD, even though I have followed the steps to do this. When I put the dvd in my XP machine it can see the files - so I know they are definatley being written correctly. Why can't I seem to finsh the DVD correctly? Is there some view I have set to see files already written? Thanks

  • Can't change Firefox menu background color using userChrome.css on Windows 7

    I can't change Firefox's menu background color using userChrome.css on Windows 7. menubar, menubutton, menulist, menu, menuitem { color: red !important; background-color: orange !important; } This seems to work as the menubar changes to red and orange. But the background-color on the actual drop down menu stays the same (that Windows 7 menu look), although the text color does change to red. Any ideas??

    I have an FTP connection active through the Map Network Drive option in Windows 7 64-bit. When navigating the remote directory, I see no way to edit files. Windows is completely ignoring file-type associations and "opens" everything with my default browser. Is there any way that I can simply edit these files? I'm open to suggestions of other software as well, but from what I can see, NetDrive doesn't work with 64-bit.
