I'm trying to use robocopy to tranfer a single file from one location to another but robocopy seems to think I'm always specifying a folder. Here is an example:
robocopy "c:\transfer_this.txt" "z:\transferred.txt"
But I get this error instead:
2009/08/11 15:21:57 ERROR 123 (0x0000007B) Accessing Source Directory c:\transfer_this.txt\
(note the '\' at the end of transfer_this.txt)
But if I treat it like an entire folder:
robocopy "c:\folder" "z:\folder"
It works but then I have to transfer everything in the folder.
How can I only transfer a single file with robocopy?
In order to try out varnish for an upcoming project I installed it on an ubuntu server using this tutorial: http://varnish-cache.org/wiki/InstallationOnUbuntuDapper
The build process worked without any errors, but I cant start the varnish demon. I always get the error message
varnishd: error while loading shared libraries: libvarnish.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
But /usr/local/lib/libvarnish.so.1 clearly exists.
How can I tell varnish to look in that directory and load the library?
I use Outlook 2007, and have a Hotmail/Live webmail account. Using Outlook Connector, I want them to be synced to Outlook 2007 on my Windows 7 HP machine, however when I click on the folder name (e.g. [email protected]) in the 'Navigation Pane' under all the usual folders such as 'Inbox', 'Deleted Items', etc, it just shows a blank inbox stating that there are no items to be shown.
Hello community,
as mentioned above - i encountered serious troubles.
here are the versions of the related software: SuSE 11.2, Thunderbird v.3.1.6, released October 27, 2010, Firefox 3.6 v3.6.12
I created an installations with an own partition both for the user and for the TB-Mails. For a new installation on another hardware i took these partitions. When i wanted to read the emails, i got an error-message like this: The GPG-agent for your GnuPG-version 2.0.12 couldn´t get started Further i got an error message for the access on services of enigmail.
The file
jar:file:///usr/lib/mozilla/extensions/{3550f703-e582-4d05-9a08-453d09bdfdc6}/{847b3a00-7ab1-11d4-8f02-006008948af5}/chrome/enigmail.jar!/locale/de-DE/enigmail/help/initError.html
couldn´t get found.
I found out, that this path doesn´t come from TB nor from firefox, but from enigmail. I installed several (un-)pack-programs. the only effect was, that in the menu of TB the entry for OpenPGP appeared in the TB-Menu. The errors as described above repeat at every try to read an email. I deleted and re-installed enigmail, but the errors dont´t disappear.
What can i do to get rid these error-messages ?
Thanks in advance
I am making a series of configuration changes on Junos EX- 2200 switch.I have this router connected to another PC via an ethernet cable. The IP address of the switch is 192.168.1.1.I am able to ping from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.0 and vice-versa.
After the changes I make I do the following commands
set system archival configuration transfer-on-commit
set system archival configuration archive-sites "scp://[email protected]:/home/karthik/ws_karthik/sw1_config_1.txt" password godfather
commit
Where there is a user with user-name "karthik "
and password "godfather".The path shown above also exists in the system
How ever I don't see the configuration file sw1_config_1.txt created at the path specified.
Also I have verified that sshd is running on the PC (192.168.1.10)
Am I doing something wrong here?
It would be great if anyone could help me out.
I installed MySQL community 5.1.45 on my Snow Leopard 10.6, using the pkg from their site. I had previously installed a MySQL binary from entropy.ch. In the previous installation, the connections were working fine before I upgrade to Snow Leopard. In Snow Leopard, both the installations are problematic.
Using an app called Sequel Pro, if I connect with the socket operation, it connects properly. However, a standard connection with the same credentials doesn't work. From what I've understood, socket connections happen on the machine itself between processes, whereas normal connections occur over the network/ports, in this case a loopback to my machine, since the server and client are both on the same machine.
My new CakePHP installation isn't being able to connect to the db with the root credentials I provided. Btw, I've been starting the MySQL server using the Preference Pane.
When I tried running mysqld from terminal, it gave me:
100323 1:54:37 [Warning] Can't create test file /usr/local/mysql-5.1.45-osx10.6-x86_64/data/mbp.lower-test
100323 1:54:37 [Warning] Can't create test file /usr/local/mysql-5.1.45-osx10.6-x86_64/data/mbp.lower-test

100323 1:54:37 [ERROR] Aborting
100323 1:54:37 [Note] mysqld: Shutdown complete
mbp is the name of my machine.
How do I fix this so that my webserver can connect to the mysql server?
So I got an airpoort extreme, and everything works beautifully on the mac, but my windows 7 PC which is connected via a regular ethernet cable can't see any network.
The Win7 PC says there's no cable connected.
Any ideas? Is there some kind of setting you have to enable with the Airport utility? I looked everywhere but can't find anything.
Thanks!
I am having trouble with one of our CentOS servers.
I migrated this server to XenServer, installed a new xen kernel, and performed a mkinitrd with:
mkinitrd --omit-scsi-modules --with=xennet --with=xenblk --preload=xenblk initrd-2.6.18-308.4.1.el5xen-no-scsi.img 2.6.18-308.4.1.el5xen
Now I am getting an error 13 on boot. Screenshot: http://postimage.org/image/k7js0l41v/
I can still boot with the PAE kernel. Does anyone have any idea on how to resolve this? My Grub file looks like:

Pretty much every time I connect to my work PC from home (both running Windows 7), I can see the screen refresh and signs of life (clock changes, notifications pop up), but I cannot interact with the remote machine at all. Mouse and keyboard input are both ignored.
If I repeatedly reconnect, I will eventually get a connection that works. I think either a setting on my host machine, VPN client or work network is configured wrong.
My home PC is running Windows 7 Professional.
My work PC is running Windows 7 Enterprise.
My VPN client is Cisco AnyConnect.
Is this a problem anyone else has run in to? Any suggestions for settings to tweak?
I have Windows 7 Professional SP1..64bit... and yes windows genuinely activated.
I want to install Windows Media player 12 and it seems i require the "Media Feature pack"...
I can't seem to find a good install. I've tried at least 4 of them.. both 64bit and x86.
I've googled the bejesus out of this...
https://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=16546
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
Kirby
My windows laptop is directly connected to 192.168.1.0/24 (wireless lan). I access 10.21.0.0/16 though a router that is connected to both networks. The routing works fine with this configuration.
I have a VPN, that connects to 10.0.0.0/8. The VPN network doesn't actually use any IPs in the 10.21.0.0/16 range. So I should be able to configure my routing table to route all the 10.21.0.0/16 IPs through the wireless lan, and all other 10.0.0.0/8 through the VPN.
My understanding is that I can do this if the metric for the 10.21.0.0 is lower than that of the 10.0.0.0. The VPN (10.0.0.0) is automatically assigned metric 20. I have manually assigned the WLAN a metric of 1. I manually add an entry to the routing table with this command:
route add 10.21.0.0 mask 255.255.0.0 192.168.1.201 metric 1
The route is then assigned a metric of 2 (which is expected).
The problem is that it doesn't work. I can't ping any machine on the 10.21.0.0 network. But I can access other stuff on the 10.0.0.0. I can also access stuff on the 192.168.1.0.
To debug this i've done the following.
Run tcpdump on the router (192.168.1.201). I can verify that no packets for 10.21.0.0 arrive on that interface.
Disable iptables on the router. Disable the windows firewall.
Run wireshark on my laptop, to try and see which interface the ping requests go to. But I can't see them go anywhere!!
The ping command doesn't receive any 'destination unreachable' messages.
Here is the relevant section of the routing table.

I've done the launchctl load command, the symlinks point to my /opt/local/etc/LaunchDaemeons/org.macports.apache2/org.macports.apache2.plist, but it never starts. I can start it manually, works fine after that. Just won't load on startup.
My server is named in my /opt/local/apache2/conf/httd.conf, I had read that sometimes makes a difference.
I've done the launchctl unload and load trick, all with no results.
I'm out of ideas.
I have setup a DNS server which isnt working properly. My domain is accswift.com which has glued to two name servers ns1.accswift.com and ns2.accswift.com for the same IP address - 203.78.164.18.
On domain end everything should be fine. Please check -http://www.intodns.com/accswift.com
I am sure its the problem with the linux server. Can anyone help me find where the problem is for me? Below is the settings that I have in the server.

Can anybody find any flaw in this? I am still unable to reach accswift.com from any other ISP. But it is browsable from the same network though.
Thanks in advance.
I bought the device in subject to extend the range of my WPA2/PSK-protected wifi network powered by a TP-Link TL-WR340G device (AP+router).
I configured it as follows:
Operation mode: Universal Repeater
MAC of AP: scanned my SSID and got it
Channel width: 20MHz
Security options: the same as the parent AP (WPA2/PSK with AES encryption)
After configuration inSSIDer shows me two APs beaconing the same SSID at different SNRs (because I was with my laptop close to the extender). After a few hours my tablet, far from the parent AP, stopped working. I found that the scan reported two networks with the same SSID: one WPA-protected and one free at all. This happened very frequently. Rebooting the extender by unplugging it worked but this doesn't last long.
Sometimes the extender stops transmitting at all, sometimes it beacons an open network to which nobody can connect (because there is no DHCP).
What's wrong with my configuration?
created public/private keys using puttygen on my computer.
put the public key in the .ssh/authorized_keys folder on the server
setup pageant.exe to use the pk on my computer.
when I run pageant, and connecting using putty it still asks me for my password.
what am I missing?
I did do a:
chmod 700 on .ssh folder
chmod 600 on authorized_keys file
thanks!
I've set up a "Service Jail" in FreeBSD 8.0 according to the FreeBSD Handbook (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/jails-application.html). After upgrading the host to the latest patch level and then performed a jail-upgrade, freebsd-fetch still reports that there are files in need of an update in the jail. Is this expected? Then how do I know if a jail is up to date?
This is what I've done in more detail:
After the initial setup of the jail freebsd-update fetch reported that there were no updates available neither in the host system nor in the jail. This was expected. A while later freebsd-update fetch reported that the following files where in need of an update both in the host and in the jail.
/usr/lib/libssl.a /usr/lib/libssl_p.a
/usr/lib/libzpool.a
/usr/lib32/libssl.a
/usr/lib32/libssl_p.a
/usr/lib32/libzpool.a
I updated the host and followed the upgrade guide for the jail (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/jails-application.html#JAILS-SERVICE-JAILS-UPGRADING). freebsd-update fetch now reports that there are no updates available in the host but the following is the output from freebsd-update fetch in the jail:
[root@bb /]# freebsd-update fetch
Looking up update.FreeBSD.org mirrors... 3 mirrors found.
Fetching metadata signature for 8.0-RELEASE from update5.FreeBSD.org... done.
Fetching metadata index... done.
Inspecting system... done.
Preparing to download files... done.
The following files are affected by updates, but no changes have
been downloaded because the files have been modified locally:
/var/db/mergemaster.mtree
The following files will be updated as part of updating to 8.0-RELEASE-p2:
/usr/lib/libssl.a
/usr/lib/libssl_p.a
/usr/lib/libzpool.a
/usr/lib32/libssl.a
/usr/lib32/libssl_p.a
/usr/lib32/libzpool.a
Shouldn't freebsd-update know that the jail is up to date or have I failed upgrading it? How am I supposed to know if a jail is up to date if freebsd-update can't tell?
I'm sure I ran make cleandir twice before make buildworld.
TIA
I want to run the smartctl self tests to check the health of the drives in my RAID array (PERC 5/i). The array is on sda and comprises six drives. I can check the status using
sudo smartctl /dev/sda -d megaraid,0 -a
And I see that SMART is available and enabled on all the drives. I have tried to run self tests using
sudo smartctl /dev/sda -d megaraid,0 -t short
and
sudo smartctl /dev/sda -d megaraid,0 -t long
I have also tried it on all of the drives 0-5. No matter what I try, when I run:
sudo smartctl /dev/sda -d megaraid,0 -l selftest
I always get the same result, which seems to always report that I have never run a self test.
/dev/sda [megaraid_disk_00] [SAT]: Device open changed type from 'megaraid' to 'sat'
===START OF READ SMART DATA SECTION ===
SMART Self-test log structure revision number 1
No self-tests have been logged. [To run self-tests, use: smartctl -t]
From what I read, I should have no problem running the short and long self tests on the array while it is mounted. Does anyone else have experience running these tests on a PERC 5/i raid array who could lend some insight into what is causing the problem?

I just built a WebLogic 10.3.6 cluster with EM and JRF checked in the domain extensions. Next I installed ADR 11.1.1.7 by first installing ADR 11.1.1.6, then patching the environment and running upgradeADF in wlst.
All seems well except I cannot start EM. The application transitions to STATE_ADMIN, but then fails with the exception below.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,
When I run
sshpass -p 'mypass' sshfs 'root'@'68.19.40.16':/ '/dir' -o StrictHostKeyChecking=no,debug
It successfully mounts but it runs on foreground.
When I run without 'debug' parameter, it doesn't mount at all.
Server is ubuntu 8.04
Any ideas why?
UPDATE: When I run the command as ROOT it does mount. It doesn't work with other users.
here is the output of an unsuccessful mount

I have a bunch of rules in Outlook. Until last week they all worked fine, but now they don't get automatically applied upon incoming mail. When I manually apply rules now from Rules menu, they get executed. What might cause this?
Hello,
I have added a CNAME record to my DNS on my CentOS server to redirect subdomain.mydomain.com to another server.
I also use mod_rewrite to rewrite mydomain.com to www.mydomain.com:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^mydomain\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.mydomain.com/$1 [L,R=301]
this is placed into .htaccess in the root public html directory
Now, the problem is that whenever I lookup subdomain.mydomain.com it redirects me to www.mydomain.com
I tried adding another RewriteCond:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^mydomain\.com$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^subdomain\.mydomain\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.mydomain.com/$1 [L,R=301]
But it didn't help...
Anyone has some ideas?
