• Using imtophat in Matlab

  I'm trying to do top hat filtering in matlab. The imtophat function looks promising, but I have no idea how to use it. I dont have a lot of work with Matlab before. I am trying to look find basically small spots several pixels wide that are local max in my 2 dimensional array.

• Do really need a count lock on Multi threads with one CPU core?

  If i have some code looks like this(Please ignore the syntax, i want to understand it without a specified language): count = 0 def countDown(): count += 1 if __name__ == '__main__': thread1(countDown) thread2(countDown) thread3(countDown) Here i have a CPU with only one core, do i really need a lock to the variable count in case of it could be over-written by other threads.   Hi friends, when I run the url at localhost for a php file like: http://localhost/project/admin/ it doesnt open the index.php, but gives panel for downloading the file with the message below :/ You have chosen to open which is a: application/x-httpd-php from: http://localhost What should Firefox do with this file? And for example : i have 3 banner: banner1 with 20.000 nr of views banner2 with 10.000 nr of views banner3 with 5.000 nr of views and on my website the banner must to appear in this position (when the page is reloaded) : banner1 banner2 banner1 banner2 banner3 if the number of views is higher then the probability of apparition is higher how can i do this in php? • AppleScript Editor, write message to the "Result" window

  I am using the Mac OS X Apple Script Editor and (while debugging) instead of writing a lot of display dialog statements, I'd like to write the results of some calculation in the window below, called "Result" (I have the German UI here, so the translation is a guess). So is there a write/print statement that I can use for putting messages in the "standard out" window? I am not asking to put the messages in a logfile on the file system, it is purely temporary.
