  I thought I read that when a Ruby on Rails server is running in production mode, it won't say so much about an error (the details, showing the code)... but I just try to run the server using ruby script/server -e production and add a <%= x %> with the local variable x undefined. It showed a lot of error details including the code... is there a way to make it look better?

• Can we find out the difference between 2 RGb colors to find out a 3rd color?

  2 colors are mixed together. If i have the RGB for the resultant color and RGB for one of the colors mixed, then somehow i could calculate the 2nd color? I will try to explain visually what i am trying to say. • RubyMine Folder Tree doesn't refresh

  Hi Using RubyMine 2.0.2 for the first time today, on Mac OSX Leopard. If I create files in the filesystem (with, say, script/generate) those new files do not appear in rubymine. I have had limited success with restarting the program, in that the files in the db/ folder are added and removed, but unfortunately new folders in the views directory are not shown. • Paypal Mass pay fails when large transactions are made

  I am using the paypal mass pay feature but i am unable to make payments greater than $20. When I attempt to make large transactions (say for $120) i get the error that says the account has insufficient funds. My account has more than the requisite amount to make the payment. I am trying to find a solution as there is no documentation that says anything about an a limit for each payment in the mass pay api. I would appreciate any help on this.

  I have a childwindow with a number of Textboxes, Comboboxes, and DatePickers. I want to know if a user has changed any value in these (to know if I need to save to db) One way I could think of doing this are in the 'on chg' event handlers and set bool. But if a user changes the value, in say a combobox, then changes back to the original this would still be seen as a change. Are there other alternatives? • Bash Color Variable Output

  I've got a variable, let's say $x and it holds the value of website.com. I want to be able to call the variable and apply shell color to it like so: echo -e '\033[1;32m$x:\033[0m'; The problem is not the color, however, it's how the script it interpretting the output. So the output I'm getting is: $x: I need the output to obviously be the string in the variable, and not the variable name. Is there any way around this issue?
