    - by Tony
Hi, I've read the article http://davidhayden.com/blog/dave/archive/2009/05/19/ASPNETMVCAjaxBeginForm.aspx and now I have small problem with that code: <%using (Ajax.BeginForm("ChangeData", new AjaxOptions { UpdateTargetId = "myLabel" })) { %> <input id="mbutton" type="submit" value="blabla" /> <%} %> <label id="myLabel"></label> then, in the MyBookController.cs is the code to be invoked asynchronous: public ActionResult ChangeData() { return Content("OK"); } but, it doesn't work asynchronously, the compiler doesn't go inside that method

  • Perl Threads with binmode

    - by jAndy
Hi Folks, this call my $th = threads->create(\&print, "Hello thread World!\n"); $th->join(); works fine. But as soon as I add binmode(STDOUT, ":encoding(ISO-8859-1)"); to my script file, I get an error like "segmentation fault", "access denied". What is wrong to define an encoding type when trying to call a perl thread? Kind Regards --Andy

  • UIImagePickerController in iPhone OS 3.0

    - by Biranchi
Hi all, I am using iPhone OS 3.0 SDK. My requirement is that I want to get the image from the photo albums library and display it on an image view. I am using the "UIImagePickerController" for that. But the problem is the "- (void)imagePickerController:(UIImagePickerController *)picker didFinishPickingImage:(UIImage *)imageeditingInfo:(NSDictionary *)editingInfo" delegate method is deprecated in iPhone OS 3.0 , so is there any alternative for getting the Image from the UIImagePickerController. All suggestions are highly appreciated. Thanks...

  • fullCalendar Font size

    - by Daemonk
Hi, I am having issues setting the calendar font sizes to be smaller. I have changed setting a container div font size, no effect. I have also changed the fullCalender.css font from 1em to 0.5em and to a px size but the calendar text stays the same. Is there anything obvious I am missing, sorry to post if this is very obvious but I have searched for hours and I have tried so many things to set this. Thanks Dkn

  • sql - datetime variable versus string representation of datetime variable

    - by BhejaFry
Hi folks, I have a query that takes too long to respond when the search parameter happens to be a varchar datatype with date. However, if i convert varchar to datetime variable, the query runs fine. For ex: This takes too long. select count(id) from names where updateddate '1/5/2010' This runs fine. declare @dateparam datetime set @dateparam = convert(datetime, '1/5/2010',102) select count(id) from names where updateddate @dateparam What's the reason one runs fine but the other doesn't? TIA

  • PHP object access using string

    - by Rob Waring
Hi all, I have an object in PHP with some very odd property names. I just need to know how to access a property when it's name is "//www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#type". I found something that suggested $object->{'//www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#type'}; but that doesn't seem to work. Thanks in advance Rob
