Hi,
I have a problem whereby I cannot debug a c# silverlight application project that is hosted from within a visual basic web application. I add breakpoints to the main App constructor and the symbols are loaded ok but my breakpoints are never hit. I have concluded that it is a vb/c# interop problem as to test i did the following.
Created a new c# web application project
Added a c# silverlight application
Added a new vb web application project
Added references to the silverlight project from both web apps
set a breakpoint in App.xaml.cs constructor
if i run the c# webapp the break points are hit whereas if i run the vb webapp they are not.
has anyone come across this before or can anyone suggest a solution please?
Many Thanks
A generic Web User Interface for CRUD applications generating all screens at run-time based on external metadata. It comes with sample applications for address book, memo pad, to do list, restaurants list, wine cellar, and database structure documentation that are easily customizable.
I want to do the architectural design for a software that can be used integrate various third party software’s (executable) under one platform.
Standard project types will be added to the platform by default. The project type defines the way in which the different software will be executed and their input and output files.
The user can customize the available standard project type and that will be added to the platform as new project type which defines new custom execution flow.
Also it should support easy extension and customization of the features. I read that plug-in based architecture supports both.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of plug-in based architecture? Do we have any better architecture which can be used for this kind of scenario?
Thanks in advance:)

Using Command binding you can easily develop your Silverlight MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) applications where your view will not know about data. I have a big project that uses maven and I'm creating the project's jar. The problems is that the project has several classes that can be executed. How can I accomplish this?
Every time that I try to execute a class I get this message
java -jar library.jar ExecutableClass1
Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from
library.jar
i am trying to use viewpager from android support library v4 in intelli j
currently
i have android sdk 4.1
I copied android-support-v4.jar to my intellij android project under 'libs'
in the project settings of intellij
I webt to "Modules" = "MyModuleName" = dependencies tab, and add the android-support-v4.jar, by navigating the path to the libs/ folder under my own project
I checked the 'export' besides this newly added jar file
but i still can't use viewpager in my application
i get a crash msg like
java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.xxxx/com.xxxx.MyActivity}: android.view.InflateException: Binary XML file line #13: Error inflating class android.support.v4.view.ViewPager
When adding a PDF, CSV, etc... to a project I have to go to the properties of every file and change the build action to Content.
Is there a way to change the list of extensions that are recognized in a project so that this will happen when I include a pdf or csv in my project automatically.
Thanks,
