They are far away from realistic and you can't really enjoy the game (especially when snooker is your hobby :) ) So I want to try to make an own physic engine (and own snooker game).     I am always getting redirecting to this http://search.tedata.net tedata is my internet provider . I called them they say they can't help unless I have windows but I don't want to go back to windows I tried rootkit hunter but it didn't work either I don't know what is wrong , how could this keep coming up even after formatting my hard ? is it possible that the ubuntu version I have downloaded from the website is defective , the problem didn't appear with linux mint or xubuntu it only appeared when I replaced unity with cinnamon but now it appears right away after clean installation of ubuntu 12.04

    Representing geographical locations within an application, the design of the underlying data model suggests two clear options (or maybe more?). One table with a self referencing parent_id column uk - london (london parent id = UK id) or two tables, with a one to many relationship using a foreign key. My preference is for one self-refercing table as it easily allows to extend into as many sub regions as required. IN general do people veer away from self referencing tables, or are they A-OK ?

  • Ubuntu 12.04 forgetting XModmap settings often

    I have the following contents in my ~/.Xmodmap file. It seems a couple times a day (without rebooting or logging out) I need to rerun the command "xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap" to reset my settings. The only thing I can think is that it seems to happen when I walk away from my computer for a bit. Maybe it forgets the settings when the computer locks itself? remove control = Control_L remove mod1 = Alt_L keycode 64 = Control_L keycode 37 = Alt_L add control = Control_L add mod1 = Alt_L Anyone else seeing similar issues?

    I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T61 and the wireless works just fine so I installed Ubuntu straight away only to find that the wireless will not connect, it will see the networks but just not connect. Has anyone managed to solve this all the forums seem to relate to Ubuntu 9.04 and before. Edit:Sorry about that, I didn't realise that there were 2 models mine is the Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN [Kedron] Network Connection. Any help is much appreciated.

  • NUMA-aware constructs for java.util.concurrent

    The constructs in the java.util.concurrent JSR-166 "JUC" concurrency library are currently NUMA-oblivious. That's because we currently don't have the topology discovery infrastructure and underpinnings in place that would allow and enable NUMA-awareness. But some quick throw-away prototypes show that it's possible to write NUMA-aware library code. I happened to use JUC Exchanger as a research vehicle. Another interesting idea is to adapt fork-join work-stealing to favor stealing from queues associated with 'nearby' threads.

  • Should I pass link juice to my pages on other websites that are already high PR domains?

    I am starting a new website for a local business and have entries listed for it on places like urbanspoon, yelp, google+ local, etc. I am thinking of listing these citation sites on my business website to encourage visitors of my site to go and review the business on those sites. If I dofollow I will pass link juice to my page on that site, but doesn't that mean that the very very little PR juice I have will be leached away from me? Is it better to nofollow them?
