• What's the best way for storing record's ID on web page while editing in ASP.NET MVC ?

  While a record is edited,how should be the ID stored ? I could have a textbox with enabled false, but I don't like this approach. In ASP.NET I used to have a property which has saved the value in viewstate(Actually a hidden field + encrypted value). The only solution I found Is to use a hidden field. Is it save enough ? Are there any others options ?

  I would like CruiseControl.Net to fail a build when some code metrics change in a 'wrong' direction, i.e. code coverage decreases or Gendarme defect count increases. The Gendarme metrics are already tracked in report.xml file (because they are presented on web dashboard graphs), the code coverage is only reported on build status page (and saved in build report xml). How can I achieve this?

I want to detect it to avoid sax parser exception which I am getting it while parsing the xml saved as a clob in oracle 10g database. • Azure storage - double decimal point ignored on save

  I have a value that is correctly stored in a property of an object, but when I save the changes to the Azure storage database, the double value is stored to the database ignoring the point (7.1000000003 is saved as 711). Also, the property is changed to 711.0. How do I solve this problem? The field is already set to double in the class and the database table.

This causes a problem from MSQL Server management studio as it saves it auto recovery information every 10 min it will lock up as its doing its save. I found where VS2008 saved its setting but I can not find out how to change it out of My Documents for this. Does anyone know where that setting is located?

One great example of what I am thinking of doing is what Google Android sdk does: they have an R class generated automatically from the resources.   I generate a dynamic assembly with CSharpCodeProvider, from a C# source saved into a string. I can run the synamic code at runtime, but if I pause the execution Visual Studio doesn't show me the dinamic source code in the call stack. It says "External code" and I can't step into that source code. I think VS can't find PDB or other debug info. Can you help me?

  Hi guys, I've made a library which I'd like to compile to an SWC file, I've tried to do this in FDT by choosing FDT AS3 Library as Run settings, but all I end up with is a 0kb .swc file. • Setting dijit.Tree cookie for all pages

  I'm using the same dijit.Tree view over several pages in our application, and I'd like to have the cookie saved for the server name, instead of the folder name. Right now I've got 3 pages and 3 cookies, which each hold their own information on the state of the Tree, which is kinda annoying. Any ways to accomplish this? The only thing I've found on cookies in the API, is that I can set the cookieName and turn cookies on/off.
