    When compiling this code: public class WindsorControllerFactory : IControllerFactory { private readonly WindsorContainer _container; public WindsorControllerFactory(WindsorContainer container) { _container = container; } public IController CreateController(RequestContext requestContext, string controllerName) { return (IController)_container.Resolve(controllerName); } public void ReleaseController(IController controller) { _container.Release(controller); } } I am getting this error: 'WindsorControllerFactory' does not implement interface member 'System.Web.Mvc.IControllerFactory.CreateController(System.Web.Routing.RequestContext, string)' Well, it obviously implements this member. Has anyone encountered this problem?

  • Should I use my models in a library?

    I've got my auth library in codeigniter which accesses the database to check to see if the email/password combination is correct. If I'm sticking to the MVC practice, should I move the function that interacts with the database to my model, or is it best practice to leave it where it is so I can use it in the future? Doesn't make much difference to me, other than the fact I'd have to re-write the library and create the function in my model, but if that's the way it should be then so be it.

    I've implemented a ReloadableResourceBundleMessageSource in my Spring MVC application which I use to display prettier error messages for binding exceptions. The problem I'm having is that, due to a company policy, these errors must be displayed in the following format: [inputData] is not a valid [fieldName]. The field name is accessible by default in my message properties file (as the {0} argument), but I can't figure out a way to display the invalid user input. Is this possible?

    I'm using Forms authentication in ASP.NET MVC website and I store user account login name in AuthCookie like this: FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(account.Login, false); I want to ask if there is a possibility that user on client side will somehow manage to change his login name in AuthCookie and thus he will be for example impersonated as someone with higher privileges and authorized to do more actions than he is normally supposed to have. Also is it better to save in this cookie user account login name or user account ID number?
