  • Disabled javascript for printing?

    This may seem a strange question, but is it possible to disable javascript for the printed version of a webpage? The reason being, it causes the printout's layout to all be on top of each other. But if I turn off javascript it works fine. Any ideas?

  • Any GUI libaray for iPhone & Andriod based on OpenGL ES?

    Since both iPhone and Android support OpenGL ES, is there any open source or commercial GUI library we can use for these two platforms? Or is it doable (or how difficult) to port an application from one to another platform? As I know, for iPhone only, libNUI (http://www.libnui.net) is a good choice (dynamic layout & mature), but it only provides GPL & commercial license. Any other open source tool similar with libNUI?

  • Ruby Win32Api get single character non-blocking

    I'm trying to write a simple game working with two threads, one thread to get input from the user, and another thread to animate some scenes. I'm able to get characters without pressing ENTER just fine, but it blocks in the animating thread until the user presses a key. Does anyone know of a way to get a character from the keyboard non-blocking?

  • magento show categories on left sidebar on a page

    I cant manage to show on a page, on the left side the categories. I selected for the page under Design - layout to 3 columns, Right side shows fine but nothing on left side. New to magento so i`m not sure in wich file in the template i have to look for. Its a custom template installed so i got so far to: app/design/frontend/default/f001/template/ but not sure now if to look under catalog or paeg folders

  • How to set the size of multiple buttons on content

    I am using three buttons along with the list view.These three buttons are added to the layout using the TableLayout and TableRow.The first button takes more space on content, so the other two becomes smaller in size than first one. When the application runs, it doesn't even show the two other buttons. How can I make the size of three buttons equal and display all of them when application runs?Give me some example please.     I'm looking for something like the individual parts of the date picker dialog. A view that allows you to input integers (and only integers) that you can limit (between 1 and 10 for example), where you can use the keyboard or the arrows in the view itself. Does it exists? It is for a dialog. A ready-made dialog to request an integer would also help.

    I have a Customer class which has a representative field....this field is initially blank but when the user opens up the details page of the chosen customer, they'll be given the open of representing this customer by clicking on a link. The template layout I was thinking of is this: <strong>Representative: </strong> {% if customer.representative %} {{ customer.representative }} {% else %} <a href="{% url representCustomer customer.id %}">Represent this customer.</a> {% endif %} All that remains is the view to effect this...this is where I'm stuck.

    Hi Complete novice question. I've used jQuery a bit, YUI not at all and know very little about it. I work on a website thats IE specific, we're now looking at making it cross browser. jQuery seems great at hiding the differences between browsers from a javascript point of view. However in terms of css layout is it YUI that I should really be looking at? thanks
