  Hi , I am trying to remove attributes of a DOM element using below statement in javascript. var res = nodes.removeAttribute("style"); but the res is always "undefined" it seems that the removeAttribute function does not return anything (I tested it on firefox browser) How can I identify that the attribute is successfully removed or not ?   Is there an method for programatically (in T-SQL) retrieving the maximum (and minimum) value of a datatype? That it would act like float.MaxValue in C#.   This is frustrating me. It should be something really simple but I can't get it to work IE. I want to get the height of the current window. Not the scroll height, not the document height, the actual window height. I've tried window.innerHeight which returns undefined and document.documentElement.clientHeight which gives the scroll height.

• basic javascript DOJO 1.4 installation not working

  I am trying to give the DOJO framework a test spin but some how the latest release does not work at all ( 1.4.2) I keep getting a "console[_8]" [undefined] is not an object error. this is on the demos as well 1.3.3 works fine it seems ( or at least i dont get that error so far) any ideas?   For example, I cannot combine the concepts of this simple example: link text with the concepts of this example: link text, which uses the styled V3 api. In Chrome I get an error saying that: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'DROP' of undefined And it refers to this line of code: animation: google.maps.Animation.DROP, When I replace the javascript link reference to use the version of the API from the first example, the error goes away, but I lose the custom styling. • Polymorphic association inserts 0 instead of raising error when column is misconfigured as Integer

  Here's one that stumped me for a while, though in retrospect it should have been obvious. I was getting the error message NoMethodError: undefined method `constantize' for 0:Fixnum when accessing a model through a polymorphic association. Turns out the table on the belongs_to side of the association had an integer type column instead of a string. Easily fixed, but it seems like Rails ought to raise an error in this situation -- instead it happily adds the row with 0 in the type column.
