  • Why can I no longer pin tabs in Google Chrome?

    I am using the latest dev channel version of Chrome in Ubuntu 9.10. Before Chrome automatically updated a few days ago, I had the option to pin tabs. This option no longer appears when I right-click on a tab. Is anyone else having these problems? If not, any idea what I can do to fix this? Thanks.

  • Automatic picture size adjustment

    Does anyone know of a free utility that allows you to paste into it a graphics file (any type would work for me, jpg, bmp, png, etc) and it will size the file to within a preset size boundary? For instance, if I preset it to resize files to be a maximum of 400 wide by 300 tall, and I paste in a file 500x500, it would shrink the file to fit within the 300 tall limit. Thanks.

    Hi, Once i had kept a supervisor password to my windows boot screen, but now i forgot that password, Now i am unable to access the boot menu since its asking the password, all menu options are disabled. Is it possible to remove that password and can i get the boot menu default settings back? I had tried to change the jumper settings too, but the problem hasn't been solved.   • Virtual Machine for software renting service

    I am currently trying to figure out which solution would be best for software renting service (with proper licensing and stuff). I know its kinda stupid and so on, but I just have to develop it. Long story short - user can connect to a virtual machine (with windows guest os) using vnc and use some specific software for some specific time (eg., 1 hour). I have already considered VirtualBox, Xen and some other, but maybe somebody has a better idea. Thanks.

  • Where does the windows file sharing account info save to?

    OS: windows server 2003 When open explore and enter \192.168.1.xxx\c$ and prompt to ask login id and password, where does this login info save to? And even if I choose not to save, seems the session will still remain until reboot? Can the community please suggestion some keyword to this and explain how it works a bit? Thanks.
