    Hello all, I am trying to create a screen cast for my new web app. I have just come across a great example of a screencast and I am wondering what is used to do this: Click on the video to play on this page. I am impressed with the animation when the mouse is clicked and zooming into images from different angles. Is this done with Actionscript or is there software that will make my life easier to do this? Thanks all for any help

I have a function that has been inadvertently over-writing my function parameters when I pass a dictionary. Is there a clean way to declare my parameters as constant or am I stuck making a copy of the dictionary within the function? Thanks!

    Hello everyone I have installed xampp 1.7.3. After starting apache and mysql service when I write http://localhost/ in the internet explorer address bar it shows 'The page cannot be displayed'. But for Firefox it creates no problem and shows Xampp index.php page. Now how can I solve this problem? Thanks in advance

IN( first_name, last_name)"; where $word is user input (means if i search 'hell' then 'hello' as well as 'wellhell' also returned in result) above query display error, please suggest me optimize method for search in mysql. addition question: should i use LIKR or RLIKE?

    Hello, Is there a way to declare a string variable in python such that everything inside of it is automatically escaped, or has its literal character value? I'm NOT asking how to escape the quotes with slashes, that's obvious. What I'm asking for is a general purpose way for making EVERYTHING in a string literal so that I don't have to manually go through and escape everything for very large strings. Anyone know of a solution? Thanks!

    Hello , I have a php application that saves the pictures on the server and also stores the picture names in the database . The issue that I have is that the picture names include the path/folder where it was saved from (e.g 1220368812/chpk2198933_large-2.jpg) so I need a str_replace pattern to remove "1220368812/" and have the picture name correct stored in the db . Also I would appreciate if you will send me a good link that explains how exactly the str_replace patterns work or at least how the pattern that you use work .

    hello everyone i have a series of PDF byte arrays in a arraylist files that i wish to concatenate into one file, currently when the PDF application trys to open the file is it corrupted: foreach (byte[] array in files) { using (Stream s = new MemoryStream(downloadbytes)) { s.Write(array, 0, array.Length); } } downloadbytes is the resultant concatenated array of bytes below is another implementation which also failed foreach (byte[] array in files) { System.Buffer.BlockCopy(array, 0, downloadbytes, offset, array.Length); offset += array.Length; } any pointers?

    Hello, I'm using this function to determine whether my application should be online or offline: function online() { if ($online == "0") { if($_SESSION['exp_user']['userlevel'] != "1") { include("error/offline.php"); exit(); } } } However, with the data value set to 0 in the database, and $online does = '0', why is error/offline.php not included for those whoose user level is not 1?     Hello, this may be a silly question, but I want to calculate the complexity of one of my algorithms, and I am not sure what complexity to consider for the memmove() function. Can you please help / explain ? void * memmove ( void * destination, const void * source, size_t num ); So is the complexity O(num) or O(1). I suppose it's O(num), but I am not sure as I lack for now the understanding of what's going on under the hood.
