I use PHP for my development. The site is down for almost a week now.
I need to download the latest PHP 5.2.9.9, is there any alternative sites fromw the PHP can be downloaded.
Thanks,
I'm building an application where space is at a premium. I'd really like to use JAXB's unmarshalling capabilities, but including the whole library is out of the question. Has anyone paired it down so that only the bits needed for unmarshalling are included?
Hello,
I have a multithreaded application written in c#. What i noticed is that implementing thread synchronization with lock(this) method slows down the application by 20%. Is that an expected behavior or should i look into the implementation closer?
I want to be able to create a drop-down select box based on the languages my website supports. I can't seem to find a component in Wicket that does this out-of-the-box. How can I do this?
I just logged onto http://www.ezsvn.com, that hosts my SVN repository. I have been paying monthly for hundreds of commits.
They're shutting down, and their support is nonexistent.
Can I get a backup of my repository from my machine? I’m using Windows.

The amount of records to be displayed in drop-down combo boxes affect the performance of internet applications. What are the current best practices to solve this problem? Are paginated drop-downs the only solution? What is considered a large list? 100 or 1000?
I have a difficult problem with a recursive function. Essentially I need to 'slow down' a for loop within a function that repeatedly calls itself(the function);
Is this possible, or do I need to somehow extract the recursive nature of the function?
function callRecursiveFuncAgain(ob:Object):void{
//do recursive stuff;
for (var i:int = 0; i < 4; i++) {
_nextObj=foo
callRecursiveFuncAgain(_nextObj);
}
}
Hi, I have multiple sub-domains within the document_root. And multiple folders/classes within those sub-domain folders. I need something that will help me with my include_once paths, but $_SESSION[DOCUMENT_ROOT] goes too far down. And if I were to use this, and transfer the website folder later, all my include_once paths will/might break.
Hope my question is clear... Any recommendations?

Can anyone suggest an article or perhaps an example of how to create an "infinite drill-down" with UINavigationController like you see in the Facebook, IMDB and BrightKite apps?
As from subject, I have an awt.List object. When I add something to the list I would like to scroll it down to show the last inserted object.
For instance:
myList.add("sometext");
myList.select(myList.getItemCount()-1);
myList.showSelectedItem(); // Or something like that
The documentation does not seem to list any method that does something like that, can anybody help please?

I'm using jQuery UI's slider to update a div containing a number. Dragging or using the left/right keys should only allow the user to choose a number between 1 and 5 (this works as intended). However, if the handle has focus and I use page up/down, I start to get rounded values that are well out of the range of 1-5. Anybody experience the same? Thoughts?
I was wondering if there is a (webbased) way to scale down a whole website and put it into an iframe. [including images etc], so that a user would get a fully functional preview of the website (only for websites without frame busting methods of course).
Hi
I need to synchronize the count down time for all users.So it will display identical remaining time to all in asp.net.

I have built two programs in C# and I am sending simple strings through the sockets. This is fine for the moment but in the near future I will need to send more complicated items, such as objects down the sockets and eventually files.
What steps would I take to do this? What purpose do the buffers serve for the sockets/streams? Apologies if I am a little vague.
yesterday and today Flowplayer.org has been down all the time. What's the matter with them. We're developping for a client and can't access documentation :(
I'd like to implement drill down view in Android. Currently, onListItemClick, I refill
the same list view with different data.
questions:
any other suggestions? Something like the way it is done using UITableView on iPhone?
is it possible to animate (push left or right) the listview fill operation?
I have a navcontainer with buttons in the container. I need to make a dropdown list for only one of the buttons. How would this be accomplished with CSS/HTML. Here is my code:
HTML:
<div id="navcontainer">
<a href="/home.html" class="button" style="width: 115px">About Us</a>
<a href="/quote.html" class="button" style="width: 170px">Request a Quote</a>
<a href="/affiliates.html" class="button" style="width: 115px">Affiliates</a>
<a href="/pricing.html" class="button" style="width: 170px">Pricing & Plans</a>
<a href="/addservices.html" class="button" style="width: 190px">Additional Services</a>
<a href="/service.html" class="button" style="width: 165px">Service Details</a>
<a href="/watering.html" class="button" style="width: 108px">Watering</a>
</div>
CSS:
#navcontainer {
float: right;
width: 1040px;
height: 45px;
text-align: center;
line-height: 45px;
color: #fff;
margin-bottom: 6px;
}
.button {
text-align: center;
background: #226426;
color: #fff;
width: 100px;
height: 45px;
float: left;
text-decoration: none;
font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
font-size: 15px;
font-weight: bold;
border-right: solid 1px #91b293;
border-top: solid 1px #91b293;
border-bottom: solid 1px #91b293;
}
Do I need to make this into a ul or can I keep it as is, and just add a dropdown to the Services button? Thanks for your help.
Isn't there any way to do it?
I have made jsFiddle which is not working in IE.
The piece of code is given below:
The HTML
<select id="testing">
<option value="1">Option 1</option>
<option value="2">Option 2</option>
<option value="3">Option 3</option>
</select>
The jQuery
$(document).ready(function() {
$('select#testing option').eq(1).attr({
disabled: 'disabled'
});
});
The CSS
select option[disabled] {display: none;}
Any pointer would be helpful.
Note: I cannot use .remove() method.
i have a jquery animate function which i want to call if the selectedvalue for my dropdown list is X
<script>
$(function () {
var state = true;
($("#button").click)(function () {
if (state) {
$("#effect").animate({
backgroundColor: "#aa0000",
color: "#fff",
width: 500
}, 1000);
} else {
$("#effect").animate({
backgroundColor: "#fff",
color: "#000",
width:500
}, 1000);
}
state = !state;
});
});
So I've got this code that has an image and when you click it a dropdown menu appears. Pretty simple. The code works fine but I'm trying to incorporate an image swap on click and I'm having difficulty. Here's the HTML and the JS (there's some CSS too, but I'll leave that out):
HTML:
<div id="header">
<dl class="dropdown">
<dt><a href="#"><img src="images/cogwheel_btn.png"/></a></dt>
<dd>
<ul>
<li><a href="#">Favorites</a></li>
<li><a href="#">History</a></li>
</ul>
</dd>
</dl>
</div>
JS:
$(document).ready(function() {
$(".dropdown img.flag").addClass("flagvisibility");
$(".dropdown dt a").click(function() {
$(".dropdown dd ul").toggle();
});
$(".dropdown dd ul li a").click(function() {
var text = $(this).html();
$(".dropdown dt a span").html(text);
$(".dropdown dd ul").hide();
$("#result").html("Selected value is: " + getSelectedValue("sample"));
});
function getSelectedValue(id) {
return $("#" + id).find("dt a span.value").html();
}
$(document).bind('click', function(e) {
var $clicked = $(e.target);
if (!$clicked.parents().hasClass("dropdown")) $(".dropdown dd ul").hide();
});
$("#flagSwitcher").click(function() {
$(".dropdown img.flag").toggleClass("flagvisibility");
});
});?
I've tried adding lines like ("dt").empty(); and then ("dt").html("new_image") but it causes the dropdown functionality to stop working. Anyone any ideas?
