  • Web Platform Installer issues deploying Azure SDK 1.4 on refreshed systems.

    Recently I have been doing quite a bit of testing on different means to deploy the Azure SDKs and such. After a very successful couple of systems, I started running into issues last night. Here is the problem, if I go to the Windows Azure Website, and go to Develop, then click on the SDK and Tools, then Get Tools & SDK, it launches the Web Platform Installer.  All seems well at that point, except it will go through the initial process, will find the SDK files for 1.4, but since the tools for Visual Studio are still 1.3, the location throws back a 404, which causes the Installer to fail.  NOTE:If you already had SDK 1.3 and the tools in place, it will go through.     Não consegui, apesar de diversas tentativas, instalar nenhuma das versões: 12.04 LTS e 13.04. Cheguei a trocar de mouse,uma vez que o anterior não era reconhecido pelo sistema. Configuração: Motherboard Gigabyte GA-970A-D3 8 Gb de memória DDR-3 1 Hd Sata II Samsung de 80Gb, com Windows 7 Ultimate SP-1 1 Hd Sata II de 1Tb Samsung, como dispositivo de dados 1 Monitor 23" Phiips CL 234 1 Placa de Vídeo Gigayte NVidia GeForce GT-220 1 Placa Ethernet Realtek RTL 8139/810x 1 Mouse Microsoft (com software IntelliPoint 8.2) 1 Mouse Logitech M-100 (que usei para subsitutir o da Microsoft, SEM SUCESSO!!!) Na última tentativa, o instalador do ubuntu (tanto no 12.04 quanto no 13.04, PASMEM, não reconheceu o Win7 instalado...foi aí que 'JOGUEI A TOALHA"...! Apesar de minha simpatia pela liberdade e SO's livres e bons, dificuldades como esta desencorajam a transição/migração do usuário... É de se pensar sobre isto...!

The other reason for the trip is to connect with the Microsoft development community.  This includes both members of my local Midwest community and the global communities that I have only had online connections with.  Sharing the experience and getting a chance to exchange ideas with new and old friends is a great part of any convention.     this is the 1st time to write here and the 1st time to use a mail client other than outlook. I tried to add my enterprise email address to evolution mail, I tried both server types exchange mapi and microsoft exchange. With exchange mapi i get this error message "Authentication failed. MapiLogonProvider: Failed to login into the server" With Microsoft Exchange I get this error "Could not connect to server . Make sure the URL is correct and try again." Although I'm sure of all the steps Server: ip address of the mail server Username: Domainname\Username Domain: domain name My system is Ubuntu Release 11.04 (natty) Kernel Linux 2.6.38-15-generic Genome 2.32.1 Evolution 2.32.2 Any kind of help is appreciated and thanks in advance
