  • NUL symbol gets inserted anywhere in the XML

    I am using Oracle 11g and when I query data from database manually, it looks ok. But when I view it using Notepad++, there is a special character that gets inserted anywhere in the xml produced. Please see image below: I tried everything and deleted some parts of the xml, updated the db and query again but the invalid character just differ in location. Any idea is much appreciated, thanks!     Hey all, this is my first post. I recently upgraded a wordpress site, all things load but on the top of the page and bottom of the page I get this error.     I'm now writing a Bonjour service listener class, according to the document here: Currently, it seems working, I can receive "netServiceBrowserWillSearch:" and "didFindService:moreComing:" correctly. However, after a long wait, I cannot receive " netServiceBrowserDidStopSearch:" or "netServiceBrowser:didNotSearch:". Therefore I don't know that is the proper time for my delegate class to stop showing some UI. Could anyone have an idea for this? Thanks.

LLL[ ]RRR I'm trying to think of a heuristic for this task. Is the heuristic meant to aid in finding a possible solution, or actually return a number of moves as the solution?     Hello guys, I would like to ask what is the ideal folder structure for a MVC framework that should be able to support multiple installations. For example, I install xyz framework and i run two or more sites based on this single installation of xyz framework rather than installing the framework for each site. This is probably done in Codeigniter too but i don't know much about CodeIgniter, so i need your suggestions. I know some of you might even have better idea than what is done by CodeIgniter, so please share.

    I have a Queue of items I want to process in a thread, and any instance of a class can add items to the Queue to be processed. My idea for doing this is to have a static Thread in the class that processes the items, the only problem is that I don't know where to start this thread, since I can't start it in its initialization. Is there a way I can start a static thread? Or should I be changing the architecture completely?

I have a ROXML object that looks like: class Activity include ROXML xml_accessor :id end If I have an array of these objects and call .to_xml on the array, I receive an empty xml collection: "<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?>\n<activities type=\"array\">\n</activities>\n" Any idea why or how to fix this? I'm running Rails 2.3.5 with the newest version of ROXML. Thanks
