    Hello! In a project that I'm currently working on, we use the System.Web.Security MembershipProvider as our provider for membership and roles. Now, we do not only use this for a web application, but also a WCF & WPF application. So my question is: Where do I put the configuration of the MembershipProvider so that it applies for both web and WPF? The configuration I'm talking about is stuff like RequiresQuestionAndAnswer, RequiresUniqueEmail, PasswordFormat etc.

  • How host name is broadcasted in a subnet

    Hello. I'm working with Microchip's TCP/IP stack and the host name of my device is not being broadcasted, although I can access it using its DHCP assigned IP. So the question is, what is the protocol that a network device uses to broadcast its host name, so that when I see a list of devices in a network I can identify it by name? Is it the NetBIOS name service or something else? Thanks in advance.

    Hello, I have created a drop down with JQuery that can be seen here by clicking the Preview button on top: http://jsbin.com/ubire3/edit It works fine except for one problem. When i hover over the main hover links (blue ones) quickly eg going horizontally quickly hovering each top menu, the submenus don't close. How do i make it so that even if i hover fast over them all other submenus are closed? Thanks

I'm using this code to format a date from a string: NSDateFormatter *dateFormat = [[NSDateFormatter alloc]init]; [dateFormat setDateFormat:@"EEEE, dd MMMM yyyy"]; NSDate *dateStart = [dateFormat dateFromString:[thisEvent dateEvent]]; [thisEvent dateEvent] contains this date: Saturday, 09 April 2011 I don't know why dateStart contains 2010-12-31 23:00:00 +0000 where I'm wrong?     Hello i'm consfused using the Messenger class of MVVM Light. I have a ProductsViewModel that can get initialized a number of times. In the constructor of ProductsViewModel I have this code: Messenger.Default.Register(this, n = MessageBox.Show(n.Test)); The problem is, if I have 2 instances of ProductsViewModel, then Messenger gets registered twice. Is is bad to Register the Messenger in a constructor? Hope this makes sense!

    Hello, I have task to get static method using reflection like this : myType.GetMethod("MyMethod",BindingFlags.Static | BindingFlags.Public | BindingFlags.InvokeMethod); In case if class contains MyMethod all works correctly, but in case if parent class contains MyMethod I receive null :(.
