I would like to try programming genie, but I can't find neither source code for it nor any version control repository. Does anybody know where can it be found?
I can't narrow down this bug, however I seem to have the following problem:
- saveState() of a horizontalHeader()
- restart app
- Modify model so that it has one less column
- restoreState()
- Now, for some reason, the state of the headerview is totally messed up. I cannot show or hide any new columns, nor can I ever get a reasonable state back
I know, this is not very descriptive but I'm hoping others have had this problem before.
Calling the jQuery focus() method on a link appears to only partially focus the link. Whilst the link has focus to the extent that pressing ENTER follows the link, it doesn't take on the default outline styling (or adopt any styling set via the :focus pseudo-class), nor is the tab-order correctly 'entered'.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
(results observed in Firefox 3.6.2)
I'm considering making one of my most popular mobile apps into an open-source project. It has an Android and iPhone version.
While I have used open-source projects and submitted feature requests and bug reports, I have never created an open-source project nor contributed with a patch to an existing one.
What are the top things that I should take into account before opening the source of my project? What specific steps do you recommend taking for open-sourcing a mobile app?
Anybody out there notice anything wrong with this JSON? It validates at JSONLint.com, but neither Chrome nor Firefox's native JSON parse functions will properly parse it.
Any ideas?

Has anyone managed to make the example at http://railscasts.com/episodes/196-nested-model-form-part-1 work?
When I followed through the sample, it never saves any question nor the answer to the database but it manages to create a new survey entry.
I am using:

ruby 1.8.6 (2008-08-11 patchlevel 287) [i386-mswin32]

Given a class like this:
class B
class << self
attr_accessor :var
end
end
Suppose I can't modify the original source code of class B. How might I go about removing the setter on the class variable var? I've tried using something like B.send("unset_method", "var="), but that doesn't work (nor does remove_method, or overwriting that method with a var= method that doesn't do anything). Any ideas?
What is the stability of Array.sort in different browsers. I know that the ECMA Script specification does not specify which algorithm to use, nor does it specify whether the sort should be stable.
I've found this information on for Firefox
https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Core_JavaScript_1.5_Reference/Global_Objects/Array/sort
which specifies that firefox uses a stable sort.
Does anyone know about IE 6/7/8, Chrome, Safari?
Hi guys,
given a hidden hyperlink (hidden by setting display: inline in a css file), how can I achieve to animate this hyperlink to 'display:block'? Neither show() nor the following code
.animate({
display: block
}, {
duration: 500
}
do work!
Anny suggestions?
Cheers,

Hi,
does someone know a good cross reference engine like LXR, but written in PHP? My provider has PHP and MySQL as well as Postgres DBs, but neither I have access to Perl nor via SSH. I'd like to put up a online cross ref for my Software which is written in C.
Thanks for helping!
Dan
I'm looking for a quick way to log some data - I seem to remember a way to write to the access log, similar to System.Out.Println() but I can't seem to remember how to do it.
I can't attach a debugger, nor can I add additional information to the web app via Response.Write().
Is there a simple way - a single statement with no configuration changes would be ideal - to write to either the error or access logs?
I took a class on "Intelligent Decision Making" (which was mostly an Problem Optimization class). In the class we learned about AMPL and how to extend the solvers. I haven't heard much about it lately, nor have I seen job listings for it.
My question is: Is AMPL still in use anymore? If so what is it being used for?
Yes, I do understand that AMPL can be replaced with Matlab, however AMPL is free and Matlab isn't even close.
Guys I know this question is silly but just to make sure:
Having in my class method:
boolean equal(Document d)
{
//do something
}
I'm overloading this method nor overriding right? I know that this or similiar question will be on upcoming egzam and would be stupid to not get points for such a simple mistake;
I need to load an xML file from the bin folder in ASP.NET (MVC, not that it would count). I can't get the bin folder path nor load the file otherwise.. I need to feed the following method :
using(var file = System.IO.File.OpenRead(/* something */))
{
}
$("div.square").droppable({
accept: '.white',
drop: function (event, ui)
{
$to = "#" + $(this).attr('id');
alert(to);
$.post(
"/Game/AddMove",
{
from: $from,
to: $to,
GameID: $("#gameID").val()
});
}
});
Well it's nor working. So I must ask, is it possible to call AJAX on droping some UI element ?
The problem is, it's not even calling an controller,
After shutting down tomcat, I get this message:

Then Tomcat shuts down after all
I haven't found a reasonable explanation googling around, nor in the single duplicate I've found (0 answers)
Hi, I'm getting this git error and I don't really get what it means, nor how I can fix it:
(v_env)[nubela@nubela-desktop searchplus]$ git pull origin master
From file:///home/nubela/Workspace/_git/searchplus
* branch master -> FETCH_HEAD
Updating 38f3d5b..fe6028c
error: Untracked working tree file 'searchplus/.project' would be overwritten by merge. Aborting
(v_env)[nubela@nubela-desktop searchplus]$
I've done the following but to no avail:
git clean -f -d
git reset --hard HEAD
Anyone can help enlighten me? Thanks :)
Is it possible to insert a new row if a condition is meet?
For example, i have this table with no primary key nor uniqueness
+----------+--------+
| image_id | tag_id |
+----------+--------+
| 39 | 8 |
| 8 | 39 |
| 5 | 11 |
+----------+--------+
I would like to insert a row if a combination of image_id and tag_id doesn't exists
for example;
INSERT ..... WHERE image_id!=39 AND tag_id!=8
Hello.
I'm currently looking for a QBE tool that can execute
queries on PostgreSQL or MySQL.
OS doesn't really matter.
Reason is that we've got to do QBE at school but I don't want to use neither Microsoft Access nor OpenOffice.org Base (lack of features).
Any help would be appreciated.
I'm new to Scala and Slick and was surprised by something in the Slick documentation:
The following primitive types are supported out of the box for
JDBC-based databases in JdbcProfile
...
Unit
...
I don't get why this list contains Unit. From my understanding, Unit is similar to Java's void, something I neither can save to nor receive from my database. What is the intention behind it?
edit: you can find it here.
I am trying to pass a variable from one page, load another and enter that information.
something Like this:
When 127.0.0.1/test.html&ID=1234
location.href = "127.0.0.1/newpage.html"
if (location.href == newpage.html){
var e = document.GetElementById("Loginbx");
e.Value = ID
}
I don't have access to modify 127.0.0.1/test.html nor newpage.html but would like to pass variables to them from another. Is this possible?
I am looking for a site that allows you to input a project name, choose a doctype, a js library etc. and then generates the directory structure and files to start a web project. I know about project deploy, but it is no longer maintained. There was a new one that was created within the last 2 or 3 months, but for the life of me I can't find it either through Google nor my delicious bookmarks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
