  • Executing JavaScript with Python without X.

    I want to parse a html-page that unfortunately requires JavaScript to show any content. In order to do so I use a small python-script that pulls the html-code of the page, but after that I have to execute the JavaScript in a DOM-context which seems pretty hard. To make it even harder I want to use it in a server environment that has no X11-server. Note: I already read about http://code.google.com/p/pywebkitgtk/ but it seems to need a X-server.

    Hi, Given the line: Bitmap bitmap = new Bitmap(stream); where stream is a System.IO.Stream, are there any limitations on the image file type e.g png, jpg, gif etc that can be handled. i.e are all image file/stream header info clear enough to say "I am an image". I haven't run into any yet, but have only being using the pretty standard ones so far. Thanks

I had big problems while migrating from MVC 1.0 to MVC 2.0 Preview 2, so I wanted to confirm with you guys before continuing. Has anyone migrated from Prev2 to RC? Was there any problems?     Hi everyone, I'm new with Doctrine2 so my question can be easy to answer (I hope so). First of all, here the SQL query that I'd want : SELECT * FROM Document WHERE id NOT IN (SELECT document_id FROM Documents_Folders) Pretty simple isn't it ? The porblem is that my table 'Documents_Folders' is not an entity. In fact, it was create because I have a many-to-many relation between my entities 'Document' and 'Folder'. In the other hand i have product list ( can be very big one ) and according to the product information i need to find the best matching between the person information and the product ( the product information that i have are water part, nitrogen part and ext. ) I can't use flow chart algorithm or Breadth-first search because the number of the product is dynamically ( read the product list from DB ... )

    hi, I created table in google Big table datastore ,In that the i set primary key using @annotations as follows @Id @Column(name = "groupname") private String groupname; @Basic private String groupdesc; I worked corretly,but it override the previous record,how to solve this for eg if i entered groupname=group1 groupdesc=groupdesc than it accept after that i enter same groupname it override previous record for eg groupname=group1 groupdesc=groups this record override previous one.

    I'm trying to send an int array through Winsocks. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure only a char* is supported so I'm kind of stuck on how to do this properly. There are also problems with little/big edian, so what would be a good way to do this?     Hi, is it legal to remove the logo/terms of use link displayed on my integrated google map (google maps premier)? The problem is that when I zoom into the map, the link tends to get longer and loger and overlays the whole website which is pretty ugly. Of course it is possible to give the div container a "overflow: hidden;" flag which helps a little. But it is still not satisfying. Thx

    I have a old computer , i want to buy a big LCD now the best i can found is Viewsonic's 24" lcd TFT monitor . So will it run without any problems or i need to upgrade the video cards or something too ? The computer is not that much old it has P4 bord and celeron processor with 128 graphics memory . And in properties it shows i can maximum use 1280 x 1024 resolution. I am noob hardware wise So need help on this stuff. Thanks

I have an link which animates some div-s height when its hovered... but div has big height and it goes beyond the visible bottom end of the screen so i have to scroll to see the data and when i scroll I leave the hover area and so the div toggles it's height to 0px... how to make automatic scroll to the end of the div when it toggles...     I have a MainMenu in my app and I would like to have little icons relevant to the Item in each menu. But the MainMenu control does not support this. I would use the MenuStrip control, though that is a pretty ugly option in my opinion. Does anybody have any suggestions? Are there any free/open source alt's out there, or would it be easy/possible to implement that feature into the existing MainMenu control?

  • UITablevViewCellStyle strange behaviour with detailTextLabel

    I have set my UITableViewCellStyle to be Value2, and it shows the detailTextLabel and textLabel, but instead of the detailTextLabel being the small text to the left of the cell, it is now the primary text in the cell, and the textLabel is the small text. Strange behaviour and i'm not sure why? For now i'm just swapping the values over, but I'm pretty sure its not correct. Anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks

  • How to control the font size of html select boxes on iPhone

    Regular HTML select boxes (such as, e.g. found here), while being "chosen" are presented by the iPhone on a native widget that seems to totally ignore regular html font sizes and whatnot. It does some ellipsing when it goes too long, but the font is way too big for a list I want to present -- even on landscape, only about 35 characters can fit. Is there any way to tell the iPhone to use a smaller font there?
