    hi i want to write a mapviewer, i must to work small tile of big map image file and there is need to tiling the big image, the problem now is to tiling big image to small tiles (250 * 250 pixel or like this size) so on, i used ImageMagic program to do it but there was problem now is any other programing method or application that do tiling? can i do it with JAI in java? how?

    Hi I'm having a problem understanding something about MVVM. My application relies on dialogs for certain things. The question is, where should these childwindows originate from? According to MVVM, viewmodels should contain only businesslogic and have zero actual knowledge about UI. However, what other place should I call my childwindows from, considering they're UI elements? Doesn't this create tight coupling between elements?

Anyways, my question is whether there is a property on the WPF ListBox control which I can set that will automatically display the full text of a truncated list item into a Hint Tip? For example, with some WinForm list-container controls, the Hint Tip only appears when the mouse is hovered over a list item that is truncated.

    Hi, I was asked this question today by a colleague, and couldn't find any clue on the Internet... Can someone tell me if calling Marshall.ReleaseComObject()directly calls the garbage collector ? As I understand it, it only removes COM references, and then the G.C. cleans memory on its next pass, but I can be mistaken... Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi All, I would like to do a 'GET' (From the command line, ss.exe) of files that has been added/changed since a label, and place them in say C:\temp\db I have files a.cs, b.cs, c.cs currently If I label my project version1.0 then add files 10.cs,11.cs,12.cs and 13.cs I would like my GET to get 10, 11, 12 and 13...     HI all I am using some files on .mm extension in the xcode project for compiling these files we have added the LLVM-GCC 4.2 in the build setting after adding this compiler this showing the error /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator3.1.sdk/usr/include/stdarg.h:4:25: error: stdarg.h: No such file or directory /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneSimulator3.1.sdk/usr/include/float.h:8:24: error: float.h: No such file or directory i have no idea how to remove this error any help to remove this error. thanks Balraj
