    I am a neophyte with Ruby on Rails but I've created a couple of small apps. Anyway, I'm really interested in OpenID and I would like to implement OpenID authentication and maybe some Sreg stuff in a Rails app. All of the research that I have done has come up with articles that are out of date or just don't work for me. Since I'm so new to Rails I'm having difficulty debugging the issues so... What is the best way to implement OpenId in Rails? Thanks

    I'm doing some auction sale app and I'm new to Entity Framework. I used quickest way to create and bind Wpf control and entity(wizard and drag and drop) so VS2010 generated a lot of code for me. Now I have a problem... WPF control isn't syched to my entity. I read some articles and I understood that I have to use IObservable. Is there an easy way to do that without writing that generated code manually?

I have the media plugin installed and working from what I can tell but when I view the page http://philadelphia.cities2night.com/articles/show/article/105/arthur-kade-runs-into-stewart-bradley-starting-star-linebacker-for-the-philadelphia-eagles-and-talks-about-fashion-show-he-s-hosting I see the object tags.     I have Article table: id | type | date ----------------------- 1 | A | 2010-01-01 2 | A | 2010-01-01 3 | B | 2010-01-01 Field type can be A, B or C. I need to run a report that would return how many articles of each type there is per every day, like this: date | count(type="A") | count(type="B") | count(type="C") ----------------------------------------------------- 2010-01-01 | 2 | 1 | 0 2010-01-02 | 5 | 6 | 7 Currently I am running 3 queries for every type and then manually merging the results select date, count(id) from article where type="A" group by date Is it possible to do this in one query? (in pure sql, no stored procedures or anything like that). Thanks

  • Can't get the JSONP workin' with WCF Data Services...

    What am I missing here? It seems from all that I read and watched, exposing JSON from a WCF Data Service should be as easy as adding the '[JSONPSupportBehavior]' directive in front of the Service Class. Problem is VS2010 doesn't recognize 'JSONPSupportBehavior'. Is there a reference I am missing? Seemed like, from alll the articles, it was supportted outta the box. TIA S.

    I often read about dependency injection and I did research on google and I understand in theory what it can do and how it works, but I'd like to see an actual code base using it (Java/guice would be preferred). Can anyone point me to an open source project, where I can see, how it's really used?
