• The Adobe Flash Player Settings popup is appearing offscreen in my Flex4 app. How do I stop this?

  Hey guys, I have a page with some html content and my Flex app. At one point, the Adobe Flash Player Settings popup appears, but for some reason I can only just see the top of it, the rest is off screen towards the bottom. Does anyone know how I can fix this so that the user can interact with the popup? Thanks for reading.

Is this the "correct" way of doing things or should we be instanciating the utility class as and when we need it? • AJAX call works on local machine, not on host

  hey everyone, What could potentially stop an AJAX call from working on the host server, when it works fine on the local host? I tried returning an error from the AJAX call, but all I get is 'undefined'. I don't think the actual page method is being called since no information is added in my log (and I've explicitly added a call). I can't reproduce the problem on my local machine, so does anyone know possible areas I should look into? Thanks

• Detecting Touches in an OpenGL rendered scene

  Hey. I was wondering whether there is a way to detect a touch in an OpenGL rendered scene. What I have i a set of images which are being rendered in my main view. Now if the user touches one of these images (or objects) I would like to know which one was touched - similar to the CGRectContainsPoint(frame, [touch locationInView:self.view] method. Is there an easy way to find out? If there is none, this would also help.

  Hey Guys I am getting some extra characters like '5ae' and '45c' interspersed along with valid data when using http_post_data. The data I am sending is XML and so is the response. The response contains these weird characters thats making the XML invalid. If I use fsockopen I do not have this issue. Would really like some input on this.

Support on .NET4.0 is not even yet complete and it fails at runtime when used in a console app. The little Intellisense support that was there in VS2008 doesn't seem to work on VS2010 (from the information I have found) Should I avoid it?   Hey, Can someone suggest me how to implement a pop-up window in Java Swing. I want the pop-up window to be a modal window (user cannot return to the main window when the pop-up is open).
