In addition to the release documentation, the following new information is provided: Learn about some of the "behind the scenes" work for an application, such as threads, events, and binding with the new learning trail on the landing page. Learn how to use cell editors with the List View component. The new example in the UI Controls tutorial shows how to build a list of names by selecting them from a combo box. • Deluge stopped working

  I've made the leap from Windows to Ubuntu 12.04 for about a week now. All has been going well and i even managed to fix the slow Internet issue but i definately need specific help with this one. I share a laptop with my brother who installed Tor, tor-geoipdb and torsocks. I removed these applications as I realised the Internet was slow for some reason. The problem I have now is that Deluge will not download anything, I tried to uninstall reinstall but still the same thing. Can you help???

• Regarding Lost Administrative Password

  I'm working on a Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) system using a Panasonic CF-50 Laptop. My Client has completely forgotten his Administrative Password. He doesn't even remember entering one; however it is there. I've tried the suggestions on the WebSite and I have been unsuccessful in deleting the password so that I can download applets required for running some files. Do you have a solution? • Where to find PHP version usage stats?

  My original question was: what percentage of sites are using php 5.4.x? (As it has some very interesting new features.) With secondary questions like how many of the cheap web hosting places have upgraded, which versions of the linux distros include it, etc. But I'm coming up blanks. http://php.net/usage.php stops at July 2007, and the nexen.net website seems to have stopped in 2008. At SecuritySpace they only list the web servers, not php versions. The TIOBE link isn't what I'm after (it doesn't -- and couldn't -- break down by version number. I thought php.net might show download numbers, but I cannot see them anywhere. I kind of answered the distro question, but it requires a lot of clicking around at distrowatch.com. E.g. I see here that Ubuntu offers php 5.4.6 in the latest snapshot, but the latest release (Ubuntu 12.04) has 5.3.10.

  I am designing a trading card game for mobiles, with the possibility to add cards to your collection using Gems, aquired through victories and inapp purchases. I am thinking to increase the spread of the game with a tracking system on game invites, enabling the user to invite a friend to play the game. If the friend doesn't own the game client (which is free) he will be offered to download it. If he joins the game, the original player earns X amount of gems as an reward. There can only be one player per mobile device, which should rule out some harvesting. My question is, how do you think the structure of this would be recieved ? All invites are mail based, unless the player already exists in the game world (then he gets a ingame invitation.) I have set a flood filter, so a player can only invite a friend (without the client installed) once a month.

• Torrent clients suddenly stopped downloading

  A few days ago I noticed, that Transmission in my Ubuntu 10.04 machine suddenly couldn't download anything anymore. To overcome this I have uninstalled and reinstalled Transmission and tried downloading with other clients (Deluge, Vuze) well seeded torrents (ubuntu iso images for example) without success. On the same computer I have also installed Ubuntu 10.10 and Windows 7, which I rarely use. What makes the problem I encounter weirder, is the fact that downloading via torrents works fine in my Ubuntu 10.10 and Windows partitions but not in Lucid Lynx. Browsing the web for similar problems didn't give me answers. Any help would greatly appreciated.

I can create the boot disk off of a Mac (in English) or Windows (but Windows is in Spanish and foreign to me). Questions: What format do I choose for the USB stick? (I wish the instructions stated this). What is Dash? (Will I know when I run the installer?) Can I do this from a Mac or Windows computer? Or only from Ubuntu?
